Disney PhotoPass Disappointment

I received my Disney PhotoPass disc today that was supposed to include all of my vacation pictures.

After spending a week uploading my photos, editing, adding borders, etc. I discover today that none of my uploaded images were included on the disc.

Disney PhotoPass never said they would include my photos on the disc, so perhaps it is my own fault, but I made certain to ask several times here on The Dis, before I put down my credit card, if my uploaded pictures would be included. I was told, several times, YES, my uploaded photos are included.

But, they are not.

So, I wanted to post this for others so they can avoid being misinformed. Future searches will hopefully find this thread so others can find this information before deciding if the disc is worth the money or not.

The photos that were included are great, so it's not a total loss, but I would not have purchased the disc in advance had I known my uploaded photos would not be included.

Did you get charged 19.95 for uploading your own pics? They do come on a separate disc.

Can you clarify what "your uploaded photos" means? Pics you took with your camera being added to the disk?. Sorry! I'm confused. On the fence about the photo pass plus, so I'd like to know. Thanks!

I was told, several times, YES, my uploaded photos are included.

I've only seen one mention by a Dis'er that they are included, and I was sure to reply to that to say NO. Well, I said "unless there has been a change, it won't include them". I'm sad you got bad info!

Since the info on the photopass website about the phototpass disc says that personal photos aren't included, going forward, that's what we need to go by.

Now, my question for the OP is were the borders for your personal photos different than for the Photopass-taken photo borders? Because that has been my experience in the past; that the personal photo borders are NOTHING impressive or fun. It has sort of been a head's up on there being something fundamentally different.

Julie, the normal photopass (or pp+) disc is the pictures taken by the photopass photographers. The + includes ride and character meal photos.

The photos YOU take and upload are NOT included on that main disc; they are on a separate disc that you pay for separately. And *in the past, at least*, the borders have been totally different, and, for me, not worth paying money for.

We did Photopass at WDW this past December.... it cost much more than $19.95 and my personal photos were on the disc as well.
