Disney photographers

So we cant use outside photography at ak where we're having our reception.... Any suggestions on disney photographers??

I had Ty for my MK shoot. The pictures came out beautiful.

Ty can be really creative - if you're into that thing and does some great pics. But I think imo - that he can be hit or miss. I also had Amy for our park photoshoot and LOVED her! I cannot say enough good things about her!

Also Joe Duncan I think his name is has a nice portfolio of work put together. I think if you are clear about the types of shots you want - they will be good at getting them for you.

I took print outs of several pics I wanted and showed them to Amy, and she nailed them for me.

We had Mike and Regina for our rehearsal dinner and then Regina for our MK shoot. We had a great experience with both.

Do we book them on our own or does the planner assign the photographer?

It's assigned, and its hit or miss. You can request a specific photographer but there isn't a guarantee you'll get them.

We had Amy for our wedding day and Stephanie for our Epcot photo shoot. Haven't gotten the pictures back yet but we loved both of them. They were super nice, took some great shots and were a lot of fun. I can't wait to see how the pictures turn out! I have complete faith they will be amazing.

We did request Amy when we first signed our contract. We were warned many times that there were no guarantees but luckily 10 months later we got the great news that she would be our photographer. I think they do try to accommodate requests if at all possible.

We were assigned Stephanie for all three of our photo shots-the Wedding Ceremony, EPCOT and Trash the Dress. She was amazing! Her shot locations were perfect. I hate taking photos and she made me so relaxed that I actually had a great time!! All our family and friends loved her, also.
I beleive anyone you get will be great, so don't stress. And if you get Stephanie, know that you are in excellent hands!

We just had our engagement shoot yesterday so I'm not sure how the pictures will turn out, but personality wise, we LOVED Regina. She was fun and personable and had some great ideas! We found out that we get to have her for our wedding too. I can't wait to see our pics!
