Disney Pets @ MK...and at TARGET!!!!

I was so excited to read on these boards that a shop in Magic Kingdom has Disney Pets items, we went in ever store and ask the CM if they have pet toys, and we finally found them in a store on Main Street. I was very happy to bring home our very spoiled cocker spaniel a Disney Dog Collar, and Disney Ball. It's not often that we ever to into any kind of store and not end up buying her a treat or a toy. She has dog collars for every holiday and season, I think our count is up to 16, and she's only 3 years old. Anyway while shopping at our local Target store last night, of course I found myself in the dog section and I couldn't believe it but they had the Disney Pet stuff here. This is the same items I purchased at Magic Kingdom, except they were cheaper. I got her a Mickey Glove plush toy with a squeaker in it. We are reliving our magical trip and only had to drive about 5 miles.

I read that Target had Disney pet items and went to our local Target to buy a collar. I was sad to see no Disney stuff at all. Is it just some Targets that are carrying Disney pet merchandise?

I bought the collar and leash for my cocker spaniel and the collar didn't last and my dog pulled right out of it. No matter how many times I adjusted the length, it would always stretch back out to the largest size it could be. The plastic catch on it just wouldn't hold and the leash pulled the metal hook right out of the collar. So my suggestion is if you have a mid-sized dog be careful because the collar is easily broken and your dog can get away if he/she is not a good listener.

Awesome stuff!!
We got the dog dish for our Springer Spaniel.

They also started getting in new T's for kids and adults!
Didn't get in our sizes yet. Maybe next week, because the stuff is new, they didn't get all the sizes yet!

Target is our new destination for Disney stuff!

Finally Disney has pet toys! I hunted all over two different trips to bring our beagle back something from the world. I couldn't understand why they wouldn't have a store, say Pluto's Playhouse, that catered to pets.

I saw all toys at Target and was planning to pick something up to bring back for our Lacey and my sister dog since she will be puppysitting for me the week we are away. Target also has Simpsons pet toys too.

I would love to have my dog's name monogramed on her collar.

I looked at every store on Main St. at MK last this past Friday and I couldn't find anything. I even asked one of the CM what store carries the pet stuff. She said she had no clue, but to go ask at the Town Hall. I went there and the line was sooo long that I didn't wait. What store were they in? Now I'm on a mission!

I saw the leash and some other things at the gift shop at AKL a few weeks ago, so try your resort gift shop. They were really cute, but unfortunately the leash was too wide/large for our miniature dachshund. Hopefully they'll come out with some smaller ones.

I first saw the Disney pet stuff at a Super Target in Orlando about 3 months ago, but nothing here at our local stores. And when we were on vacation in May we found a display at the Contemporary that had leashes, treats, balls, etc. and had to get something for our Lady. We ended up getting a cute fridge magnet that has Pluto and the little cat and goldfish from Pinocchio (their names escape me right now) and it says something to the effect of "The pet is fed" and under neath has a little paw and one side says yes and the other no and it turns. We also picked up 2 bandanas- one s-m and l-xl. There both the same other then the size and read "My human went to Walt Disney World and all I got was this lousy bandana" too cute!! I was just at the Contemporary this past weekend and the display was still there, it's in the Fantasia Shop. I also looked for the pet stuff at the Poly and didn't see anything so I'm not sure how they're picking the locations.
