Disney Pet Resort

This place looks great but I'm pretty sure my dog would be totally mystified if someone tried to read her a book. Especially since I've told her since she was a puppy that "books are for people, not dogs!" :lmao:

Omigosh, this is funny! I wonder what's tucked inside the pages of the book in that first picture because you know the dog isn't looking at the pictures. He's just waiting for his treat. :dog:

I can't imagine Max wanting a book to be read to him. Now if the book were made out of cheese or peanut butter, and he was allowed to eat it, he'd be on board with that. ;)

This is pretty cute...and depending on the price, maybe even something I'd consider for my furballs while I'm at WDW!

Y'all don't read to your dogs??!!

We actually have the book, Three Stories You Can Read to Your Dog.lol. And my dogs like other books too. ;)

Pet parents can choose from a wide range of a la carte activities for pet guests from one-on-one playtimes and social playgroup with other doggy guests, to cuddle time and bedtime stories with staff. Additional amenities and upgrades include Ice Cream Treats, Bottled Water and Premium/Orthopedic Bedding. Feline guests can also enjoy private playtimes, activity toys in their suites, and treats such as Cookies and Milk or Tuna on a Ritz.

:rotfl:

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate venomous pets or primates of any kind.

Darn, there goes me bringing my poison snake and my monkey to WDW... :sad2:

The Vacation Villa boarding experience includes 1 Potty Walk, 1 Playgroup Session, an Ice Cream Treat and Turn-Down Service each day.

TURN DOWN SERVICE?!?

I used to work at a Best Friends kennel... would've been a lot of fun if it was at WDW! As much as I loved playing with the pups, I never once thought to read to them...

Ok, I'm still stuck on the part where indoor boarding only includes two potty walks.

Does anybody's dog really only potty twice in a day? :confused3:confused:

I think it will be great! I talk to my dogs ALL THE TIME and I dont see how reading to them is any different! I LOVE the idea! :goodvibes

I cant wait to see the place!!

My dog can make do with that. He's big--like 120 pounds of big. Large dog, large bladder, large bowels. :) YDMMV (Your Dog's Mileage May Vary) :lmao:

don't they have kennels all ready? i think it's a good idea especially for adding kitties their own place as well as "pocket pets" , but wondering how much it would cost?

There is a petstore close to me that is going to add doggie day care and they were saying about nap time. really? like they are all going to lay down at the same time.

where i take my pup, one of the reasons for doggy day care is to wear his big butt out. they even have kiddie pools and hose fun in the summer.

Yes they do. At each park and at FW. They are older and not much walking space and not very large. THese are going to be much much better!:thumbsup2

Im waiting for a price...I emailed them, waiting for a reply

That's a whole lot cheaper than what I pay for my puppy-although I would want an extra walk for her. I wonder if they charge extra for larger dogs?

My dog never went potty when we boarded her at the Disney kennels. They took her out a couple of times, but she never did anything. She's a nervous pottier I guess.

one of the pages says "call us for dvc discounts" - I've used the epcot kennel a few times. I changed to a local kennel, which for $17 a night, gives the dog a 12" indoor/outdoor run and tons of cuddles and I'm sure plenty of walks.

Thanks Ruthie
