Hey, all! We are the proud owners of a puppy! A corgi mixed with everything, light brown in color and tiny! I doubt he'll weigh more than 20-25 lbs. He's a boy....

Well, he is still nameless and I want a Disney name! Any help???

Well....let's see....forgive my spelling!
From The Little Mermaid you have:
Eric, Sebastian, Flounder
From Beauty and the Beast:
Gaston, Beast
From the Jungle Book:
Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera
From Fox and the Hound:
Cooper (or is it Copper?)
From Pinnochio:
Pinnochio or Gepetto
From the Lion King:
Simba, Mufasa, or Scar
I'm sure there are a ton more!

I'd name him Jumba!!! Or Friar Tuck. But I wanted to name my dog Jasmine or Sarabhi

It's Copper::yes::

I've always wanted a Corgi! Do you have a picture?

Copper was the hound from Fox and the Hound

How about:

Aladdin...or Prince Ali Ababwa ;)
Jafar
Hercules
Stitch (oh, good, my dog found the chainsaw...) ;)
Milo

Hmm... what are your favorite movies/attractions?

If I was going to name one, these would be my own personal picks:

Gracey
Morty
Clarabelle
Tink
Pongo
Perdy
Thumper
Figaro
Cleo
Bianca
Gus

I think that's it :)

I have a bird named Disney..........
I also had a greyhound that was so small I named her Tinkerbell, but it became Tinky B.
I also have a white kitty whose name was Bianca but it became Binky.................Why is it that we name our animals and then give them nicknames?
There are alot of great Disney names, but if you would have had a purebred and would have tried to register it you would have gotten a letter from the AKC saying the name was patented......at least this happened to a friend of mine, don't remember which name it was though.:p

We just got a midnight black Shih Tzu. We've named her Bella.
She weighs less than three pounds and will probably only get to nine or so.

:o

Oh this is the night
it's a beautiful night
and we call it bella notte
look at the skies
they have stars in their eyes
on this lovely bella notte
side by side with your loved one
you will find the enchantment here
the night will weave its magic spell
when the one you love is near, oh
this is the night
and the heavens all rise
on this lovely bella notte

(repeat)

When you come up with a name please post it so we all know:D

Congrats!

Clopin
Phoebus
Hercules
Jafar
Scamp
Stitch
Nemo
Gaston
Chernabog (I'd call him Cherny for short)

Thanks you guys! I am going to have DH read this list and we'll pick a name from it....I will certainly post it when we decide, and a pic if I can figure that out! A friend thought of Sulley from Monsters INC,

Does any one know the name of the dog/footstool in Beauty and the Beast? There are one or two characters I am not familiar with posted (hanging my head in shame:eek: )....is it one of those?

Uh oh...I have to hang my head too...didn't know the footstool/dog even had a name! (Just checked with my DD and she doesn't think it has a name either)

How about Tramp? Or Bernard? Or Thomas O'Malley...yes...I know that was a cat, but I think it would be a cute pets name either way.

I like Copper too.

Some others:
Chief, Jock, Trusty, Napoleon, Lafayette, Slinky, and Patch

Dont know if someone already posted this or not but...

Meeko is a cute name! We have a cat named meeko!

That's so funny that you asked this....my DD9 was talking about an hour ago how she was going to name her future dog "Raja" from Aladdin!!

Mortimer is the name that Walt Disney had originally suggested for Mickey Mouse -- how 'bout that? You could call your dog "Mortie" for a nickname.

We waited until after a WDW trip over 6 years ago to pick up our dog and therefore named him Magic. His tail is black with a white tip--looks like a magic wand, so the name really fits him. Our cats are Tigger and Belle. My daughter and I wanted Tigger and Winnie, but my boys thought that sounded like "weenie". lol Maybe I'll get a Winnie some day. Our newest dog is Sheena, but she came to us already named. I know there is a Sheena movie, but I don't think it was a Disney movie.

T&B

AND THE WINNER IS.......

Copper!

It fits his color, it fits our name (see our Dis Name) with the movie!

Thank you for all the GREAT suggestions! If I get smart, I will post a pic of the little 5 lb bugger!
