Disney Parks " Disney Time" Sweepstakes- Any Other Winners?

I live in an apartment building and all packages get left in the lobby. This afternoon when I was leaving for work I saw a fedex envelope with the packages and got really excited. To bad the envelope didn't say my name on it . Oh well there is still three more weeks to win this thing.

Did all previous OMDD winners (that were contacted by phone) receive calls from a 212 area code? I got a call today from a 206 area code & it looks like it's in Washington. I'm sure it has nothing to do with Disney because they didn't leave a message. I just don't usually get telemarketer calls on my cell.

This! I've explained "212" and "Ventura"...but all I get is this: He is going to feel so stupid if we WIN.

I am SO glad it isn't just me nagging my DH about answering his cell phone! I get the same LOL! I told him "if you win, you will be racing to see his 'girl' Tinkerbell again! LOL!

On Dh's entry I put our home number so I don't have to instruct/remind/harass him to answer all calls to his cell

I've put the number as my cell since it gets answered more readily than the house phone, plus We don't have to be home to get the call

For people who can't answer their phone during the day (like the person who posted earlier who is a teach), I hope if they can't reach a person through their phone they'll make at least one e-mail attempt before selecting another person.

Like everyone else, I sooooooooooooo want to win

I'd love to stay at one of the resorts on the monorail but if I win I'd probably take my parents and let them choose where they want to stay. So many choices...

I was surprised that the OMDD winner stated that they got $1,500 in GCs. That's awesome! I'd pick the grown up romance package. I know everyone gets a $500 GC but I wonder if all the other parts of the package are given as GCs too - like the $800 value for the spa/golf. It sounds like the $400 DTD shopping package would be a GC based on what previous winners said. That's nice for flexibility!

dh and I dont have a landline so I had to put our cell numbers. I too have been drilling him that he needs to pay attention if he gets a 212 number. But then again, I am the one who screens my phone calls more than he does. I wont pick it up if its a number I dont recognize, even if it's local. I've been telling DH the same thing. He doesn't always answer calls when he doesn't recognize the number. 212 is on the "must answer" list!

I used my cell & my email address for myself and our house line & my other email/family email address for him -- so I can monitor.

I was wondering that too and something one of last year's winners said (about just getting a GC) made me think that will be the case.

Just a note that there are lots of Disney Sweeps all the time. I check this site each Friday when it is updated - http://www.mousesavers.com/disney-orlando-so-calif-sweepstakes-and-contests/ and I take 10 minutes to enter anything I can each day!

The contest I won in 2011 was sponsored by Radio Delilah- I don't listen to her but knew about the sweep from this site!

I just got home from work and I saw a notice on my apartment door that I had a package from Fedex! My heart was pounding, especially when I saw that it was a large envelope that they had left on my porch.

I knew before I opened it from the return address that it wasn't from Ventura

But it was my 2 1 day passes that I won through mycokerewards for Universal Orlando! So while it wasn't what I was really hoping for, it was still a nice surprise as I wasnt expecting them for at least another month.

After reading through this entire thread I'm very surprised by the amount of people who have won Disney sweepstakes in the past on this board. I thought it would be an extremely rare occurrence. Unless people simply joined this forum after they won. Either way, it's fascinating. I have enjoyed reading about people's experiences.

I have been entering this sweepstakes every day this month. It's very exciting. I'm so glad to have found a forum to chat with everyone about all things Disney. Hi everyone!
