disney parking while staying offsite

No. Just hang on to your receipt and show the gate attendant.

Nope! You can even hop to a different Disney park and not have to pay again. You'll get a receipt when you first pay for parking. Hold onto that and show the person at the gate when you either come back later in the day or when you go to a different park.

thanks so much for the info, my only issue with staying off site was going to be paying over and over for parking... no im not at all concerned!

Last year we went to Universal and I remember that I was able to use my credit card for parking. I haven't used a car at Disney since 2002 but I would imagine that, if Universal takes credit cards, Disney would too.

Went in 2011 and paid for parking on both a Disney gift card and our CC (depending on which DH had handy when he pulled out his wallet )

We used a Disney gift card to pay for parking when we were there in 2011. We had one gift card dedicated to parking so we just kept that in the counsel in the car and used it each day. We did the park hopping and also going back after an afternoon siesta. It was great.
