I only see 2009 points charts on Disney Paris hotel. Anyone know when or where to find the 2010? Also, they are reservation points, not regular DVC points, which I get cause they're not DVC resorts, but what are the ramifications of using my points as reservation points? Are there cancellation consequences, do they go into holding, would they be lost in case of a cancel? Would these points have to be current (no banking or borrowing to create the reservation)?

Thanks for any info you can provide. I know I can call MS but right now this is just inquiries, I'm no where near ready to actually book something, I don't even have a passport!

Also, where can I find detailed info on Disney Paris? TIA

It costs a $95 fee to book outside the DVC system. Points designated as Reservation Points, if the reservation is cancelled, can no be used at a DVC resort. The must be used for the Disney collection or Concierge Collection, etc., and another $95 fee would apply .

We have used DVC points for stays at Disneyland Paris twice before and looked into it again this year, but because you also have to purchase length of stay passes for all guests for all the days you are staying it works out to be waaay to expensive for us as we have to pay in dollars and the exchange rate against our pound is rubbish at the moment.

If you do go it is really good value for points to stay at Sequoi Lodge. we even preferred it to the Disneyland Hotel and the New York.

Good luck in your planning.

If you end up not booking using your points, there is one off-site hotel that offers early entry (the only one). It's also across the street from the train station and one stop away from Disney. I paid $75 for my standard room - US currency. It's a modern hotel and in a safe area, but the rooms are very basic - they're more like an EconoLodge. It's the Hotel l'Elysee Val d'Europe.

I've stayed there, too. It was not luxery but a much better value than using my points.

If it's anything like last year, then the 2010 point chart will be out sometime around the beginning of December!

The Official DLRP site is okay, but DLRP Magic is better for information. And visit the Disneyland Paris board here on the DIS, if you have any questions you can't find the answers too.

And I second the Sequoia Lodge hotel as a nice place to stay :)
