Disney Panchos

Can you please tell me how much the bright yellow Disney world panchos sell for? Looks like I may get some rain during my trip and I would rather buy a pancho there and bring back as a souvenir.

Last time I bought a rain poncho it was around $12-$15 I believe. And it was clear, not the bright yellow from years past.

I haven't seen yellow ponchos in years.

I always just buy a bunch of cheap, clear ponchos before a trip so I don't have to deal with carrying a wet poncho around. It starts raining, I put a disposable one on. It stops raining, I toss it. Rinse and repeat. And definitely easier than trying to refold a wet one and then deal with it in my bag.

They started using clear ponchos a long time ago. No more yellow.

We like to do a both. If there is a chance of rain, we bring the cheap poncho into park.....rain all day, we have heavier ones that have lasted us through 30 years of disney trips.

They don't sell the yellow ones any longer. Ours are 25 years old and still going strong. We have one of the clear ones we bought when my daughter outgrew her child size yellow one. I really get the suggestion people have for buying the cheap ones, and I can't vouch for the quality of the current Disney product, but the older ones really have lasted longer than we've had a right to expect.

I was getting excited they were selling yellow now.

We have clear ones that have held up really well. We did have one that got a rip around one of the buttons, and we took it in to a gift shop and they gave us a new one.

We have a couple of ”leftover” yellow ponchos also (Mickey Mouse on back); I have no idea when we bought them. But I prefer them to the clear ponchos (although I think the yellow ones were a bit heavier material).
