Can anyone recommend a good Disneyland resort hotel, or even good neighbor hotel best suited for an infant?. I don't want to be very far from our hotel with a 9 month old and two 7 year olds. We initially had our hearts set to stay at the Disneyland hotel, but after doing some research it doesn't seem as close to the park as I thought. Also has anyone ever used the contracted sitter services available through many of the hotels?. I love the idea but I am scared to leave my LO with a complete stranger. I prefer not to bring him to the park, it will be too warm and I would rather keep him on his nap schedule.

I'd say I prefer Grand Californian for sheer convenience but I don't think it's a huge difference in distance. If you stay at DLH or PP, you can use the monorail to access the parks. If you stay at a close by good neighbor hotel, you walk to the turnstiles. But we're talking about a relatively little amount of walking in any case compared to the walking you do all day in the park. So I'd do whatever hotel is most attractive to you. If you have your heart set on DLH, I don't think you'll like the others because they aren't DLH.

Can't help you with the sitters. I think comfort level depends on entirely how you find sitters at home, and I don't think anyone here can determine your comfort level for you. But we took the babies in the heat all of the time because summer is the only time everyone could go, and it wasn't ever really a problem. If the baby needed a break because of weather, chances are everyone else did as well.
