Disney Online Sponsor offer e-mail for Universal Studios!

Did anyone else get the Disney Online sponsor e-mail for an offer at Universal Studios today? It was so weird opening my e-mail today, and seeing an e-mail about Universal Studios from Disney Online. I wonder how that happened.

I saw that and it make me want to HURL.

The worst part was it said this:


Experience Orlando's two most amazing theme parks, Universal Studios Florida® and Universal's Islands of Adventure®,


Two most amazing parks? I don't hardly think so!

that Disney's email was hijacked and emulated. A lot of spammers use this way of sending out mail and getting people to open it. I have not seen it, but if you still have the message I would forward it to the Disney Online tech people.

I have sent an e-mail to Disney about getting the Universal Studios sponsor offer. It will be interesting to see how and if they respond.

Have you received a response back from Disney? I also received the e-mail and thought it was very strange.

Here is the response I got from Disney about the Universal Studios sponsor offer. I don't think the guy got what I was talking about in my e-mail. Oh well.

Thank you for your letter.

The contest to which you are referring is not a Disney sponsored contest. The
contest prize may be produced by Disney, but the contest itself is not.

You must contact the contest sponsor to resolve this issue.
