I honestly and truly pray for people like you. Must be very, very difficult to live one's life in constant judgement of others. I suggest you look inside yourself and deal with your own issues before enforcing your concept of morality on others.

Actually, I think that you are the one who is scared by the response to this question. After all, why else would you have needed to create a new userid in order to post your discriminatory comments?

Walt had a dream of a place where EVERYONE could have fun together. Walt's dream is only realized if everyone is actually welcome in the place that he created. This decision is a major step towards the fulfillment of Walt's dream.

I have no idea if Walt would be okay with this, but I'm not sure why you think the answer would scare anyone either way. I guess I'm just another "self-indulgent, pompous and clueless" one, but my 6yo son has been to birthday parties for classmates that had either two moms or two dads, and I don't see any signs that he's been "affected adversely." (In fact, he continues to show an inordinate interest in blonde females). He seems far more "adversely affected" thinking about the children of divorced parents he knows ("How come Anthony's Daddy doesn't live with them?").

Frankly, because you don't have the ability to channel Walt's spirit and ask him for us, this particular argument is nothing but laughable.

ETA: Something that is quite common amongst folks with your mindset when it comes to fear is the fear that you are likely harboring homosexual feelings of your own. Others that don't harbor that fear or other feelings of illwill are very in touch with their own sexuality and are very secure in their own own lives. Those that feel the way you do are HIGHLY like to be the ones with the most to hide. Just thought I'd share that with you.

I don't what you are referring to. My userid has never changed. As for Dancing Bear I am glad that there has been no impact on your child thus far. The fact that you are concerned that it would proves my point entirely.

No. I just enjoy reading about rumours concerning the parks and trip reports, however I do feel the desire (not obssesion) to balance an argument concerning values and morals with rational thought.

On the other hand to go through my past posts to such a degree presumes an obsession on someone else's part.

With dedicating that many posts to homosexuality, you are quite clearly more concerned with homosexuals than any homosexual I know.

BTW, depending upon which of the major polls you look at, support for either gay marriage or gay civil unions runs between 45-55% of the American public, and has been rising steadily for many years.
