Agree, and the increased capacity. It was going to have to close to finish the project so somebody was always going to miss out. Just glad it has stayed on schedule.

Exactly my thought....I am planning this trip as a surprise that is being announced at Christmas. I sure hope my family isn't bummed out about 2 major things we wanted to do being down... At ages 4 and 5, these are kind of biggies!!!

This is our last Disney trip and now our 2 most favorite rides will be under refurbishment when we are there! Plus that means the other big rides will be busier too.

I'll be there in summer 2016, so I'm looking forward to it. But for people going while Soarin is closed.... I can't imagine how bad the Test Track lines will be. They need to think of SOMETHING to swallow up all those people that would otherwise be on line for Soarin.

Being my favorite Disney ride of all time, I would seriously have rebooked the entire trip. We went back and forth on thanksgiving this year or spring break 2016, and I am soooo glad with what we chose. BTMRR is one of DH's favorites.

I'm also looking forward to the refurbish, which is sorely needed, but I have to ask...6 months...can someone enlighten me as to why? I thought they were adding a third theater and a new movie. Surprised it takes that long.

Unless I'm way off on this...it's not just a refurb, but an upgrade. They're installing Soarin' Over the World. Finally.

And the TT line is soooooooo slow. I hope they find a way to speed it up.

The Frozen ride at Norway would be a great way to get some of those people, but I have no idea when that is projected to open. I know it may not be a headliner ride, but I can only assume that loads of people are going to swarm that ride when it does finally open.
