I just had to write...been thinking about Sally a lot since we got here. TONS of rule breakers. The stories I could tell you and we've only been here 2 days! I think of Sally every time I want to smac....I mean scold someone over their poor behavior.

We've gotten TONS of rain here but, like you, brought the "real" rain jackets and it hasn't been so bad. Chased the crowds out of the parks anyway.

Hope your flight is uneventful and you bring some sunshine with you ! Maybe we'll be seeing you soon.

I hope you have a wonderful and safe trip! I can't wait to read your TR. We stayed at AKL for our first trip to WDW last March. We couldn't afford another WDW vacation this year, so I'll live vicariously through yours! Btw, we loved the remote feeling of AKL (DH and I would sit for a while and unwind on the balcony after DS went to bed.) It was so relaxing after the crowds and hustle and bustle of the parks. It'll be perfect for your 10 day trip.

one more side note...water shoes do float...I lost mine when they made me hold on to them and I thought oh no! but thankfully...I just had to swim over to them!

Have Fun at my favorite resort!!! We stayed at AKL Club level when my hubby returned for his leave period from Afghanistan last January. WE ADORED The resort and the whole vacation/family time! I LOVED your last trip report, it was so humorous, and I really look forward to hearing your tales of this vacation We are planning our next trip for Sept 1-12, 2009 at Coronado Springs to save some money this time... Hoping my husband won't get called back to Afghanistan and put a wrench in our plans There is talk of it at his work, so we'll have to hope for the best! Have a wonderful trip!

Hey everybody!!
Thanks so much to everyone for the lovely anniversary wishes!! Loved that picture of Mickey and Minnie!!! Jay outdid himself...we went to dinner last night (b/c the kiddies are here tonight)...at a place called Stephanie's...it's fabulous Italian food! He gave me some really nice gifts and I gave him some neat-o stuff too! it was wonderful from start to finish. He's a good guy my Jay. The card he got for me had Mickey and Minnie on the front! When I opened it, Mickey slid over to Minnie to give her a smooch! It was the cutest thing! I loved it!! Jay knows me well and he has great taste in all things!

Yes we are getting those last minute crazies into our system. I've been watching a live streaming video of Disneyworld...watching the rain fall fall fall.

I am slightly concerned...rain is against the rules so I'm not SURE what is gong on here!

Hopefully Fay will head off into the regions that are desperate for rain, behave herself along the way and leave Walt Disney World alone! Reading the comments from those who are there right now aren't terribly encouraging...rain for days and the parks are packed to the gills...

that being said...WHO CARES?! WE'RE AT DISNEY!!!!

The weather here has been FANTASTIC...clear blue skies, not a lick of humidity and lovely temperatures. It's crazy to be heading off into a storm...but Disney rain is more fun than regular rain...

I AM getting a little worried about leaving my pup. I've written TWO pages of things for the dog sitter to know...which I realize is InSANE...but he's my baby. Doxies are sensitive little things...I don't want him to be depressed...

I'm sure he'll be fine.

and since I'll be calling every day to check on him, I'll be SURE of it!

The car comes tomorrow at 4:30am... We are scheduled to land at 10:am.

As of right now, all flights are scheduled to leave ON TIME and have been doing so without incident for the last two days.

Here's a for Shawn Johnson!! I'm so glad she got her Gold!! I was beginning to think that the Chinese athletes could pretty much do anything...like fall to their knees...and STILL get a medal...
