Okay...so when I said I promised to get the lists up Monday night...by Monday I meant Wednesday...
*ahem*
lists...let's see...(I'm at work, and my lists are at home, so this may be slightly abridged...)
The MASTER packing list...has several sub-lists...
Clothing:
a.kids
b.not kids
Bedding:
-pillow cases (4)
-sleep sack (like travel sheets! I'm using a sleep sack for Sally b/c her skin has been really sensitive to laundry detergent recently. Sleep sacks help!)
-blankies
-loveys
Cleaning:
-Travel Lysol spray
-Clorox wipes
-Laundry detergent
-sticky roller (don't LAUGH, but I roll these over the beds, pillows and anything heads and bodies will touch and/or sleep on. They pick up stray hairs that may have bugs on them...ick...I take them with me to movie theaters too and roll them over the seat backs before anyone puts their head against them! What? is that weird?

)
Personal Items:
-tooth brush
-tooth paste
-hair brushes
-hair elastics
-head bands
-clips
-hairspray/gel (for pretending we can fight the humidity

)
-shampoo/conditioner soap etc.
-lotion
sections of clothing lists:
-swim gear
rash guards, swim trunks and suits, goggles
-shorts
-tees/tanks
-dress clothes
-undies
-shoes/socks
-pj's/sweats
Those lists are pretty self explanatory. I always make sure to pack a set of sweats for both kids. Heaven forbid anyone ends up with a fever, both kids always feel better in cozy sweats and socks while we wait for the Motrin to kick in...or we have to make a trip to the doctor (with Teddy TWICE on trips)...although getting sick at Disney is against the rules, so I'm fairly sure that won't be an issue!
*ahem*
Park Bag list:
First Aid kit-(this list is made based on the fact that I have NEEDED every thing on the list at one time or another!)
-gloves (just in case...ya never now!)
-band-aids
-neosporin
-mole skin
-children's motrin
-children's tylenol
-children's pepto
-Advil/Aleve
-After Bite (this stuff is AMAZING! It's an "anti-irritant" It erases the pain and itch of a sting within a minute. It smells of ammonia, and it can sting a teensy bit but it's less sting than a chigger bite or a bee sting and works quickly! I highly recommend this product! There is also a "children's" version of After Bite but it doesn't work as well on acute stings and bites. Sally is a skeeter MAGNET and they itch her to death. This stuff has been a godsend!)
-Purell!!
-Wet Ones anti-bacterial wipes (travel packs ROCK!)
-Ponds facial cloths (travel packs or in ziploc bags, very useful when kiddos are super hot and sweaty and we need to get to an ADR. They're like little baths in a throwaway cloth form!)
-Long Sleeve tees for kids (over air conditioned environments make for blue lips and chattering teeth...especially for Teddy...it can also lead to "I'm Cooooooold"...no no...so we head it off at the pass by packing some light weight long sleeve tees...just in case!)
-Sunglasses/cases
-hats
-Misty Mate
-mister fans (kids each have one!)
-Ponchos
-Umbrella
-Pal Mickey
-notebook (for taking NOTES!)
-pens (for writing and for autograph getting!)
-camera/bag/extra batteries
-sunscreen
-wallet
-cell phone
(I know that seems like a LOT of stuff, but it's all in travel form and super small. don't get me wrong...I carry quite a bit...but it makes me feel more in control of unexpected events...which is SO an illusion...but it works for me...I cling to my fantasy of control...it gives me peace!

)
Sally’s park bag will contain her very own supply of toilet seat covers and Purell! She will also carry her mister fan, autograph book, smashed penny album and a roll of quarters and pennies for said smashing! She will also have her camera! (Jay and I got her a new one this weekend…her camera from last year had to be put out of it’s misery…

)
General Travel List (carry on items)
-Travel document organizer
-Birth certificates
-Passport/picture ID
-Gum (for take off…only…gum is ick.)
-Kids will have their Travel pillow & blanket
-Kleenex!
-Ipods
-Books/magazines
-Dvd player
-Dvd’s…Disney of course! (the kids LOVE The Ugly Dachshund for flights

)
-Coloring books and crayons
-Hockey Mask*
-Blocking Mats*
*not taking any chances...
I know I've missed things...
OH YES, the Publix Grocery list!!
Tiffany Towncar does a 30 min. Grocery stop at Publix on your way to the resort! We love Tiffany Towncar!
-Diet Coke...obviously...
-Bottled water
-CapriSun Raging Waters (good for hydration, has a teensy bit of fruit juice (to head off blood sugar drops, which helps Teddy immensely! freeze those at night and pack them into the parks the next day. ShaZAM--cold hydration that isn't all that heavy to carry!)
-bananas
-oranges
-honey nut cheerios
-peanut butter
-fish crackers
-snack sized zip lock bags
that's usually about it...I'm sending three packs of PediaLyte Singles to our resort. It'll be there when we arrive!
ummm...is that it?
gosh I hope so.
I'm so not done packing yet. It's making me anxious...there is stuff everywhere...I pack by "outfit"...so I have shorts and shirts that go together all piled up in stacks. We are combining a suitcase for Teddy and Sally b/c of that lovely new "bag charge" at Continental. We'll have four suitcases, one will be empty so we will have room to take home our Disney loot!
I had forgotten the anxiety and tension of packing the last few days! It's so exciting and freaking me out at the same time!
8 days to Disney!!!
