The men's gymnastics were good. But did you see those sores on their arms?? I looked gross and painful.

Oh Miss Cammie, I cant wait for the next report!!!! Here's wishing lots of fun, NOT alot of rule breaking, and the kiddos having the time of their lives!! Take lots of pictures to share with us, and have a wonderful time!!!

Thanks so much!!! I think the kids are really going to enjoy this trip! Lots of magic around every corner!!

SINGLE DIGITS!!!

I think I am almost as excited about YOUR trip as I am about my own! I hope you all have a truly magical time, and I am already excited to read about it!!

Whatever will we do without you for 10 whole days??

:lmao: Awww thanks! I am trying to get jay to bring his laptop so that I can stay connected...jay is NOT a fan of the laptop in general...I may be out of luck!:sad1: ;)

Single digits?   I'm still waiting to see pictures of those customs you whipped up :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I DID TOO whip up a custom...one...and by "I"...I mean "Steph"...but I picked out the...well...nope, maybe Steph did that too...

I DEFINITELY thought about customs though...a LOT...

does that count?

I am forever jealous of y'alls talent...and Jham...those pics of your babies camping...and Izzy resting in Lily's chair...and cousin dog Luna cuddling with a rock...too too too cute!!!! Izzy sure is growing like a weed isn't she?

Oh my gosh y'all...I'm trying to pack. I'm over packing...but then I worry that ten days is a LOT of time...but don't want to overdo it...but don't want to under do it...

it's tough.

I was so happy for our boys!! Of course I fell asleep last night and had to watch via DVR this morning. (No work today!!!:cool1: ) I'm thrilled for them!! The girls are going to ROCK...did you hear that Sam Peszek is out of the competition? How heart breaking for her. :sad2: Perhaps she'll be make a miraculous recovery...pixie dust and all that...maybe? here's hoping!!:goodvibes

:cool1: Single digits!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

The men's gymnastics were good. But did you see those sores on their arms?? I looked gross and painful.

Ick, I know...poor guys. I don't know how they do what they do. Mind over matter I guess. I'm sure they see them as battle scars and are proud of them! Especially with their bronze medals around their necks!

That Megan, she's such a trend setter!!! That's a very good idea!! Teddy has a little bucket hat that would look darling with pins on it...of course a lanyard around his neck means he can't sit it down and walk away from it...then again...this is teddy...it's possible!

Which North Face flips did you get? The "ex-boyfriend" or the "W Flow Kami" style? Both are cute...although I have to say...I never managed to have the same size feet as any boy I ever dated...and even if I had, I would NEVER have put my feet into his tatty, skeevy flip flops! I don't know what kids of guys the North Face crew are dating but I sure hope they have clean feet!

ick!

I think the lanyard bothered their necks, Megan's more than Jacob's. I would worry about that with Sally. Maybe Sally will get a hat she can put pins on later this week...

I got the ex-boyfriend, but I can't imagine a boy wearing brown and pink flip flops. It takes all kinds, I guess. I like that they are a little tattered.

Hey, although I have never measured I would guess that I have probably had the same size feet as a boyfriend or two. I really liked the tall guys but always ended up with shorter ones!

I'm posting because your PTR was on the seond page and that jsut can't happen.

You were off today?

*ahem* lists *ahem*

:rolleyes1

I love me some MissCammie too, but I hope I don't see Sally. My kids are noisy and loud and prone to being sticky.:rotfl:

:goodvibes Subscribing !:goodvibes
I LOVED:lovestruc , LOVED:lovestruc , LOVED:lovestruc , your last report, and CANNOT wait for the next.
I enjoy your germaphobic moments, because I am SO the same way !:rotfl:
Especially those Nasty strollers, who knows what was on them before us !
Have a Fantasmic time !pixiedust:

You trip is getting so close! :woohoo:

What happened with Alicia Sacramone last night? I felt so bad for her.

for those of us who just NEED *ahem* another pair of sandals...endless.com through amazon is having $20 off a purchase of $80 on sandals with free overnight shipping. My kids love flip-flop/thongs so they have new ones coming for the first day of school:cool1: (mom got 2 new pairs too...seems fair right???;) ). :cool1: :cool1:

Okay...so when I said I promised to get the lists up Monday night...by Monday I meant Wednesday...

*ahem*

;)

lists...let's see...(I'm at work, and my lists are at home, so this may be slightly abridged...)

The MASTER packing list...has several sub-lists...

Clothing:
a.kids
b.not kids

Bedding:
-pillow cases (4)
-sleep sack (like travel sheets! I'm using a sleep sack for Sally b/c her skin has been really sensitive to laundry detergent recently. Sleep sacks help!)
-blankies
-loveys

Cleaning:
-Travel Lysol spray
-Clorox wipes
-Laundry detergent
-sticky roller (don't LAUGH, but I roll these over the beds, pillows and anything heads and bodies will touch and/or sleep on. They pick up stray hairs that may have bugs on them...ick...I take them with me to movie theaters too and roll them over the seat backs before anyone puts their head against them! What? is that weird? :confused3 )

Personal Items:
-tooth brush
-tooth paste
-hair brushes
-hair elastics
-head bands
-clips
-hairspray/gel (for pretending we can fight the humidity  )
-shampoo/conditioner soap etc.
-lotion

sections of clothing lists:
-swim gear
rash guards, swim trunks and suits, goggles
-shorts
-tees/tanks
-dress clothes
-undies
-shoes/socks
-pj's/sweats

Those lists are pretty self explanatory. I always make sure to pack a set of sweats for both kids. Heaven forbid anyone ends up with a fever, both kids always feel better in cozy sweats and socks while we wait for the Motrin to kick in...or we have to make a trip to the doctor (with Teddy TWICE on trips)...although getting sick at Disney is against the rules, so I'm fairly sure that won't be an issue!

*ahem*

Park Bag list:
First Aid kit-(this list is made based on the fact that I have NEEDED every thing on the list at one time or another!)

-gloves (just in case...ya never now!)
-band-aids
-neosporin
-mole skin
-children's motrin
-children's tylenol
-children's pepto
-Advil/Aleve
-After Bite (this stuff is AMAZING! It's an "anti-irritant" It erases the pain and itch of a sting within a minute. It smells of ammonia, and it can sting a teensy bit but it's less sting than a chigger bite or a bee sting and works quickly! I highly recommend this product! There is also a "children's" version of After Bite but it doesn't work as well on acute stings and bites. Sally is a skeeter MAGNET and they itch her to death. This stuff has been a godsend!)

-Purell!!

-Wet Ones anti-bacterial wipes (travel packs ROCK!)

-Ponds facial cloths (travel packs or in ziploc bags, very useful when kiddos are super hot and sweaty and we need to get to an ADR. They're like little baths in a throwaway cloth form!)

-Long Sleeve tees for kids (over air conditioned environments make for blue lips and chattering teeth...especially for Teddy...it can also lead to "I'm Cooooooold"...no no...so we head it off at the pass by packing some light weight long sleeve tees...just in case!)

-Sunglasses/cases

-hats

-Misty Mate

-mister fans (kids each have one!)

-Ponchos

-Umbrella

-Pal Mickey :smickey:

-notebook (for taking NOTES!)

-pens (for writing and for autograph getting!)

-camera/bag/extra batteries

-sunscreen

-wallet

-cell phone

(I know that seems like a LOT of stuff, but it's all in travel form and super small. don't get me wrong...I carry quite a bit...but it makes me feel more in control of unexpected events...which is SO an illusion...but it works for me...I cling to my fantasy of control...it gives me peace!:cloud9:  )

Sally’s park bag will contain her very own supply of toilet seat covers and Purell! She will also carry her mister fan, autograph book, smashed penny album and a roll of quarters and pennies for said smashing! She will also have her camera! (Jay and I got her a new one this weekend…her camera from last year had to be put out of it’s misery…:sad1:  )

General Travel List (carry on items)

-Travel document organizer

-Birth certificates

-Passport/picture ID

-Gum (for take off…only…gum is ick.)

-Kids will have their Travel pillow & blanket

-Kleenex!

-Ipods

-Books/magazines

-Dvd player

-Dvd’s…Disney of course! (the kids LOVE The Ugly Dachshund for flights :lmao: )

-Coloring books and crayons

-Hockey Mask*

-Blocking Mats*

*not taking any chances... :rotfl:

I know I've missed things...

OH YES, the Publix Grocery list!!

Tiffany Towncar does a 30 min. Grocery stop at Publix on your way to the resort! We love Tiffany Towncar!

-Diet Coke...obviously...:thumbsup2

-Bottled water

-CapriSun Raging Waters (good for hydration, has a teensy bit of fruit juice (to head off blood sugar drops, which helps Teddy immensely! freeze those at night and pack them into the parks the next day. ShaZAM--cold hydration that isn't all that heavy to carry!)

-bananas

-oranges

-honey nut cheerios

-peanut butter

-fish crackers

-snack sized zip lock bags

that's usually about it...I'm sending three packs of PediaLyte Singles to our resort. It'll be there when we arrive!

ummm...is that it?

gosh I hope so.

I'm so not done packing yet. It's making me anxious...there is stuff everywhere...I pack by "outfit"...so I have shorts and shirts that go together all piled up in stacks. We are combining a suitcase for Teddy and Sally b/c of that lovely new "bag charge" at Continental. We'll have four suitcases, one will be empty so we will have room to take home our Disney loot!

I had forgotten the anxiety and tension of packing the last few days! It's so exciting and freaking me out at the same time!

8 days to Disney!!!:dance3: :cool1: :3dglasses

Weird? Maybe! :teeth: But very smart! ;)

Thank you-thank you-thank you!:worship:

There are always things I read on list that I would never think of, or didn't know about. After Bite-that is something I need. Mosquitoes LOVE my pale Irish skin.

Will I need bug repellant and remedies in November?

I actually did forget to add bug repellent to our list. It's already packed! We do NOT leave home without that either. Disease carrying skeeters are everywhere! Especially in warm humid climates. The After Bite is usually behind the pharmacy counters. We got ours at Target. The kids version was in the aisle but the regular stuff is behind the counter!:thumbsup2

Here's a little packing tip you may like - I do this with my DD, now 10, who has "opionions" about what she wears and in the past has been very good at unmatching the outfits I packed for her. I pack a matching outfit (shorts or pants, shirt, appropriate underwear and socks) in a zip lock bag - I can get away with a 1 gallon size for summer clothes, sometimes need 2 gallon for somewhat bulkier clothes when we travel in the winter time. DD understands the "rule" that she cannot mix clothes from one bag to another, but she can just go to her suitcase each day and choose which bag to get dressed from. (This does not apply to "special" outfits that I might bring along for a fancier dinner out or something like that - just park attire.) This way DD feels that she still gets to choose what she wears, but she does not drive me crazy by wearing purple shorts and a bright green top (no offense to anyone who likes that combination!)

That is a VERY good idea!!! I wish I wasn't so controlling about what everybody wears, b/c I would SO use this idea otherwise...

*ahem*

;)

J/k...sort of...

:flower3:

with the most ridiculous of questions...

First LOVED the TR. I knew from first post you had to be from Jersey because only the northern NJ folks would move down to the shore...hah! I am down the shore by the way...

Anyway - your title is what grabbed me - and let me say I think you are a much nicer SM then I am .

OK ridiculous question: The ponds facial clothes...do they need to be rinsed off after??? I have these, and I have used them and then I wonder hmmmm should i be rinsing my face? It doesn't feel like it...but yet that little voice says of course you need to rinse after....

So do I ?
