I’d love a Luke series, but I think I’d rather the deaging rather than a recast. Would be weird seeing someone else as Luke, like it was weird seeing someone else as Han, but this would be after we’ve already seen Luke in that time period.

To me, his Mandalorian appearance made complete sense and was the most logical option. But...that was under the impression that it was one and done. The scene with Luke and the Dark Troopers was that bad-a scene that fans have wanted to see from Luke since RotJ. I’m glad we finally got to see that Luke. But I couldn’t be any less interested in a Jedi academy series
Reading about the formation and running of the Jedi Academy were some of the best novels in the old EU. So a series devoted to that would be amazing for those of us that grew up on those stories.

You know, I don't understand - Luke had a "bad-a" scene in The Last Jedi, but no love? Is that because the fight wasn't physical? To me it was an impressive display of The Force, proving that he had become a true master, and it still saved the day. I don't really get the difference.

Its not that I have no love for it. Just like people went nuts for the Vader Rogue One scene. It showed an expanded look of their power and abilities

I never read the novels, which is probably why it doesn’t interest me. I’d watch it, but like I said, I’d prefer a Solo series. I think that movie came out at one of the most divisive periods of the fanbase and it clouded a lot of judgement and you’re seeing people start to appreciate it now. Strike while the iron is hot. Maybe the Lando series will fulfill some of the Han story

So back to my Clone Wars watching saga. I’ve jumped around a bit in the series, really can’t get into the Padmé or Jar Jar heavy episodes. But definitely have a greater appreciation for the series now. Almost at the end of season 6 and this season has been amazing, as was the end of 5 with the Mandolorian and temple bombing storylines. Will move onto Rebels once I finish season 7.

I could see Han having some screen time in the Lando series if they bring back Alden

We’re not very far from the de aging technology being perfected. Maybe by the time they get this show in production, IF these rumors are even true, they’ll be able to harness the technology enough to go that route

I didn't really mean you specifically. A lot of fans are going so nuts for Luke, in tears and all, and I'm thinking didn't he march in and save the day in TLJ too?

I don't think it was the fanbase division, it was just too close to other movies in a very crowded spring and too soon after TLJ. If I'm the type who only sees a movie every few months, was I going to see another Star Wars or rather Avengers or Deadpool?

Even if if was full of Grogu? 😉

Well we are about to get more Star Wars than ever in a short period so...

most of what I get from fans that hated TLJ is that they ruined Luke before that point.

So the scene in Mando is before they "ruined him"

I guess I just enver understood tha.t Running off to be a hermit is right out of the Jedi playbook.

I don’t know if I need more Maul. They gave him a lot of good content in the animated series.
I’m pretty much onboard for whatever Star Wars they’ll toss at me. Solo set up a lot for Maul, and I’m still interested in where it was going.

Above all the rumors, I want the Cad Bane ones to be true the most. I’d love to see him done in Live Action alongside Hondo.

I'm hesitant on this. I don't want a recast for the character when Hamill can still do it, but if it's going to be part of the Mandoverse I'd prefer live action to animated to keep in line with the others aesthetic. I could easily see them doing one to pick up with Grogu's story. He was their cash cow from Mandalorian after all. I think Sebastian Stan would be a decent choice for a recast but I would much prefer Hamill in some manner.

As for other series people mentioned I am really hoping for one with Maul/Qi'ra with how Solo ended. I was very curious to see where the Crimson Dawn story was going. Cad Bane would be awesome to see in live action and I could see him easily fitting into that show as well. It would be close enough in the timeline and a gangster set show would be an easy storyline to fit a bounty hunter like him into.

Hondo fits perfectly into a series like Mando that’s set up in chapters of individual missions. I’m surprised we haven’t seen him pop up yet
