It must be changing to a Frozen themed experience. In fact, everything that closes for refurbishment from now on will reopen with a Frozen theme.

Disney is looking to hire 1000 part-time and full-time workers in a recruitment drive to fill new positions created by recent expansions to the Magic Kingdom and elsewhere at the Walt Disney World Resort.

In particular, candidates are encouraged to apply for roles such as parking attendants, reservation sales agents, bus drivers, housekeepers, quick service food and beverage positions and more.

Walt Disney World is the largest single-site employer in the United States, employing nearly 70,000 cast members across 3000 different job classifications.

Expect Toy Story Midway Mania to begin construction shortly with some Marvel rides and theming coming to the park. The park is also looking to replace many of their shows and other attractions with new stuff over the next couple of years.

2. Plans to convert Star Tours to the second version are gaining steam quickly.

well they just built ratatouille over there and it is disneys worst performing park i would think they would want it up to par. I don't know if Meg Crofton is the answer but at least change is coming.
 
Starting July 27 2014, PhotoPass print packages and table-side sales will be discontinued at Walt Disney World restaurants.

The change will take place at Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, 'Ohana, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, and Tusker House Restaurant.

Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus will continue to offer the print packages until January 4 2015, after which it will be no longer offered. From January 5, the inclusive photo package option will be discontinued.

Following the discontinuation of the print packages, guests will be able to use the My Disney Experience app and website to view photos taken by PhotoPass photographers at restaurants.

The provisional celebrity narrator line-up for the 2014 Candlelight Processional is beginning to take shape, with some first timers joining returning favorites at Epcot's signature Holidays Around the World event.

Appearing for the first time at the 2014 Candlelight Processional will be actress Sharon Stone, and comedian Ana Gasteyer.

Here is the line-up so far, which as always, is subject to change and with many dates still to be determined.

Nov 28 to Nov 29 2014: Jodi Benson
Dec 5 to Dec 6 2014: Whoopi Goldberg
Dec 15 to Dec 17 2014: Sharon Stone
Dec 18 to Dec 20 2014: Ana Gasteyer
Dec 21 to Dec 23 2014: Marlee Matlin
Dec 28 to Dec 30 2014: Steven Curtis Chapman

Included with Epcot park admission, the Candlelight Processional is a retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and mass choir. Holidays Around the World takes place this year from November 28 to December 30 2014.

I have some new disneyland news and rumors to be talked about. Some I have mentioned in the past now its just coming from a different source. Micechat has a new article out today about lots being in store for the 60th anniversary of Disneyland resort. Tom Staggs and Bob Iger along with other executives have been walking the disneyland parks over the last two weeks to see how these ideas would work.

1. Soarin over california upgrades

2. Paradise Pier upgrades

3. Monstropolis for the hollywood backlot and muppet area

4. Upgrades to the fantasyland dark rides (already underway)

5. Club 33 changes (already underway)

6. Marvel mini-land behind tower of terror in the timon parking lot. They are looking into expanding into this lot for a meet and greet area no large rides just a permanent meet area for marvel characters. Also looking at adding a theater of sorts.

7. New Steve Davison night parade for Disneyland

8. New castle show, new fireworks, and update to world of color

9. Diamond decor for the diamond anniversary

10. Through a third party disney has quietly been buying land around the the Disneyland resort. Rumors are a large parking structure is in store for this new purchased land.

The rink will be open in Soundstage 1 from park opening to 8pm daily through the event. Skating is available on a first come, first served basis. Waivers for all guests are required and minors must have an adult/responsible party age 18 or older present to sign for them.

This just seems really odd to me.... Where are they going to fit in the skee ball machines? Maybe over at the bowling alley.
 
Similar to the premium packages that were sold as part of the recent Star Wars Weekends, the 'Frozen Summer Fun' Premium Package will provide a reserved viewing area for Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome procession, reserved seating for a showing of 'For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration' show, and a dessert party viewing of the 'Frozen' Fireworks Spectacular.

The reserved viewing for Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome procession takes place from 10:30am to 11:30am, with refreshments included. Check in is at Min and Bill's Dockside Diner at 10:30am.

At check in for the procession, guests will also be able to select which performance of 'For The First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration' they wish to see. Availability is on a first come, first served basis.

The 'Frozen' Fireworks Spectacular dessert party takes place from 8:30pm to 10pm, with the fireworks beginning at 9:45pm. Alcohol is included as part of the package.

The cost for the premium package is $59 for adults, and $34 for children, including tax. No discounts are available, and theme park admission is required. Reservations can be made by calling 407-939-1939.

Disney is planning to operate a modified traffic pattern around the Magic Kingdom area on July 4 in an effort to reduce traffic congestion.

Between 9:30pm and 11:30pm, the following modifications will be in operation:

Seven Seas Drive (the road that runs between the Polynesian and TTC Parking lot) will be one way only, with both lanes carrying traffic from World Drive to Floridian Way.

Floridian Way, between Seven Seas Drive and Bear Island Road (alongside the TTC parking lot and golf course) will be one way only, carrying traffic southbound.

Starting July 11 2014, a new backstage experience will be offered for La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney.

Titled 'L’Experience', the $250 package includes:

A viewing of the 6pm show with front and center category seating
Souvenir popcorn and soft drinks
A Cirque du Soleil gift bag with merchandise
A meet and greet with a performer from the show
A look backstage at costuming and other areas
10% discount for use in the gift shop
Pricing is $250 + tax for adults, and $215 + tax for ages 9 and under.

The package will be offered for the 6pm show on Fridays and Saturdays, starting July 11 2014. Tickets can be purchased from the Cirque du Soleil Box Office at Downtown Disney, or from Disney at 407-W-DISNEY.
