Disney Sued Over Rise of the Resistance Technology

Disney is being sued by Raven Sun Creative for an alleged patent infringement over technology used in the Rise of the Resistance attraction (via Flordia Politics). In the lawsuit, Raven Sun Creative claims that Disney used the same technology that Raven patented that synchronizes video on a screen with a vertical-moving ride vehicle.

Raven Sun Creative claims that they contacted Disney Imagineers with a detailed proposal in 2014 showcasing the technology. Disney wasn’t interested.

Holiday Ending returns to For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

This holiday edition of the Frozen Sing-Along features a festive finale with musical numbers that include Olaf. Guests can also enjoy a special “snowfall” at the end of the show. This is the only option for seeing Olaf at the parks right now, so if you want to see him, go check out the Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.
