There might be. I know some friends that moved to Orlando while sales were stopped and have been waiting. However, if people feel the prices are too high, they may forgo or hold off. I don't think it will be a mad hoard though.

Right now, only resort guests and APs can get it.

We haven't been to WDW since magic bands were introduced. We have a trip planned for December. That anniversary band is now offered at a discount under MyDisneyExperience. I've picked magic bands before, but there is no option to finalize the purchase. One of my daughters and I have picked bands before, just to watch them sell out and be removed from our "experience".

Does anyone know if this is because we have one hold out? My other daughter can't seem to pick anything. If all three of us actually pick a band, will it take us to the point of buying? Or does it only do that closer to our trip?

You can't finalize your purchase until all members of your group either select a magicBand or the hold out declines getting a band at the reduced rate and purchases one at retail at a later time. They are offered at a discount to both APs and Resort Guests.

If she declines now, can she change her mind later? It has been driving my other daughter nuts - as she wanted one of the Halloween ones that has since stopped being offered there. I know I can probably find it on ebay or something, but I would like the cheaper price if possible.
