Perhaps I wasn't clear. I meant that fireworks would start before closing, but the park is essentially closed by the time they are over. I would not expect any buffer at all. If the park closes at 9, the party starts at 9 and yes, that first hour is pretty much blown on non-party goers thinning out and moving through the line after having gotten in line right at closing time. It was a complaint I always had with the after hours events, especially since they didn't really push people out of the park- just checked for bands to get on rides. With standard after hours it really wasn't an issue- there was absolutely nothing to do but ride rides so people left quickly and the parks were so empty that it wasn't costing you much. They were a bit better when it was an event that had specialty shows and/or fireworks, like Villains and
MNSSHP, but since BooBash doesn't and I wouldn't expect a hard push to clear the park completely. They need to build at least a 30 minute buffer in, but rarely do.
