So the tours like Keys to the Kingdom and Backstage Magic, is there any chance they’ll be open by December/January? If there’s no Covid reasons against the 50th tour and y’know, hundreds of people being next to each other, why is there an issue with those tours? The 50th tour is way too expensive for me, and I’m looking for more backstage stuff.

I've never been and truthfully ... don't remember hearing about this before (but it seems likely that since I've never traveled down this time of year, I just never paid attention). How does it compare to F&W? Anything of interest for kiddos?

Woo hoo! This is all I wanted. I guess I picked right with our dates, so we'll be there opening weekend. My grandma really enjoyed it last year so I can't wait to take her back and experience some more the festival has to offer.

I've never been and truthfully ... don't remember hearing about this before (but it seems likely that since I've never traveled down this time of year, I just never paid attention). How does it compare to F&W? Anything of interest for kiddos?

My kids loved the sidewalk chalk art. I think the color by number sounds pretty fun, but we've never done it. There's probably more for the kids to do at this festival than F&W.

Disney Wish Parade Float to Debut During 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

The float will also spotlight 15 favorite Disney friends who represent the stories and experiences on board the Disney Wish, including Captain Minnie Mouse, Princess Tiana, Aladdin and Jasmine, Cinderella and more.

On Day 3 of Genie, Disney Changes Protocol for Rise of the Resistance Lightning Lane Availability


Understandably, Resort Guests were unhappy with the fact that they held absolutely no advantage over Day Guests. Well, now it looks like what we saw in the first two days of Disney Genie operations has changed to give Resort Guests the advantage that they thought they would have.

This morning, we watched to see if the protocol of refilling availability would continue, but it looks like Disney did not refill availability when the Day Guest booking window opened at 9am.

My guess is that the tours not having returned yet is more due to a staffing issue or a union agreement of tours not being given to multiple parties/families in one larger group.

This new just made my week! We'll be in WDW January 26th-February 9th and I have been keeping my fingers crossed that this festival would come back. I'm so excited! I've never experienced this one.
