I got tickets for December 21st, thanks to a few Dis members on the Merriest thread who talked me through getting them online this morning. I'm excited. It makes the trip feel more real.

Fireworks to return to Disneyland Paris

Pixiedust.be has picked up that Disneyland Paris confirms the return of fireworks for the New Year's Eve party. Meaning that it is likely that the return to daily firework shows is getting closer and that the biggest castle refurbishment since the opening in 1992, should be done in December!

Nope, I think they want to override the news about the price of those tickets and any system errors people might be having pretty quick
They can announce something else, and they can still stagger the impact to their systems by spreading out the days. We already know today the system is taking traffic for the Xmas tickets. Tomorrow we have Boma reservations opening up - and they gave us 2 days warning for that. So they can announce another opening for Thursday today and still give us 2 days warning.
We're also past that 'no more free magic band' date that many thought was the date for the AP announcements, and past the 60 day mark for the FP replacement for Oct 1. So now I'm speculating the new Genie Wishes may be able to be used 30 days out (That lets them stagger the ADR and FP reservation window, I agree having them together is a bad idea) and I still think Disney does not want to beta test that on Oct 1! I'm an IT PM I would kill a manager who decided to launch on such a high visibility and traffic day!! Give me two weeks before peak use to do a live shake down please and thank you.

Got my Very Merry tickets online! SO SO SO much easier than Boo Bash. No tech issues, no crashing, totally seamless experience. I'm impressed and surprised.

$487 after tax for 2 tickets. Yikes. I'm also sure this is the new norm, so double yikes. That's like half an annual pass. I'm a master of Disney math but like... yikes. That's a rough one to swallow.

I'm so happy for those that can eat shrimp! That casserole thing just looked and sounded meh. Hopefully a sign to more "normal" stuff across the board.

(Even I was bummed about this menu change even though I can't have it. I love it, but as I got older, my body decided to become allergic. My doctor finally told me to stop trying it even though I passed the allergy test LOL.)

My husband got our tickets for very merriest for Dec 7th!! He said he waited all of 2 minutes online which after hearing about the long waits for boo bash, I was very shocked.

I‘ve got an 8 day trip in December, and 2 runDisney trips in the spring, it would be crazy not to get an AP. It’s cool, it’s all in the budget, I just didn’t expect it all to come together in the space of a week.
