I am a little confused as to why/how Disney is opening up more and more while Florida is doing so badly with Covid. I by no means want them to close again. But they aren't staffed to handle to additional openings or crowds, Epcot is still a construction zone.

I really hope things improve all the way around by my December trip.

The more they open up, the more people can spread out a bit, I suppose

Well, according to the medical models' the Delta variant is supposed to peak in a few weeks and then drop quickly. Maybe their thought is that they should continue business given this could pass in a few months.

You and me both, I'm also supposed to be going in early December. I am prepared to postpone my trip if things don't improve.

This is good news, I would consider a buffet for a restaurant I want to go to, but family style is hard as a solo (and picky eater), the food waste pains me.

Yes!! That's a good new!! My kids have very different tastes in food so buffets are a must.

CONFIRMED: Disney World Will Resume Buffet Service

Boma will be buffet service, whether it is self service or assisted service is another thing.

Barf. Any word on if Chef Mickeys/Hollywood and Vine/etc will switch Friday or if there will be a delay? We arrive Sunday and have a few options planned that I would have to reconsider if they switched to buffets.

Nothing imminent on those restaurants, only Boma getting the buffet treatment for now.

The Official 2021 Very Merriest… thread on Theme Parks Attractions..heading has some good tips on getting the tickets (especially pages 16 & 17). Yes they are on sale - I already got ours thanks to that thread). I would post them here, but I just can’t remember what all they said and don’t want to tell anyone the wrong things.

Same here! I was shocked when it loaded so easily. I have to work today, so DH was stressed about having to try to get through on the phone lines all day.

I kept getting a 400 bad request error on my iPad. Switched to my laptop and had no problems. Don’t know what the issue was, but I have my ticket for the first night!
