It makes sense, not to make it a Covid post - but the research now shows that touch transmission is super rare. But from the very beginning Disney has said 'The appearance of safety (tm)' is important to make the guests feel comfortable enough to return to the parks. That was the same thing with the temperature checks, Disney knew they weren't very effective, but it made people feel safer.

I always assumed it was more of a cost cutting measure paired with a supply chain issue for WDW

I’d love info on the return of the Minnievans, dessert parties at MK and if they are going to bring back package delivery from the parks back to the resorts.

Totally agree! I would spend so much more on merchandise if they would start resort package delivery again (are you listening Di$ney?). I'm also waiting for Tables in Wonderland, Flying Fish, Top of the World, and I want Tutto Gusto reopened as a WINE BAR and not extra seating for Tutto Italia. Le sigh...at least my wish list is getting shorter...

Not sure about "excited", but I do love the popcorn buckets. We have one from Christmas 2008, Christmas 2009, and Christmas 2010 - and we do use them regularly. I would love to add one from this Christmas trip. . . . .makes me smile when we pull them out for a movie night.

Last year was awesome…I rigged it with lights inside. We also have the full set of hitchhiking ghost popcorn holders that sing the song together those are so awesome too!

I will just use my AP or DVC discount on the food- but as far as $15-$20 cocktails/wine, I plan to drink a lot less and just stock up my villa with stuff from Publix. I will probably cancel a few fo of my signature dining reservations for our 10 day trip coming up... just haven't decided yet. That card makes me spend SO MUCH MORE than I normally would.
