For those that don’t follow regularly, this is nuts. We bought in with 75 points being the minimum in 2019. It’s doubled in 2 years, putting the minimum direct buy-in at ~$28,000.

We bought in at 80 and now have 265 (combined resale and direct) but clearly they are looking to stop families like us from purchasing that way. Hopefully this means more member perks to come, because it’s a shame that the minimum up-front cost will box out so many people.

I feel bad for new purchasers just buying in. I agree, I hope that means there are more perks to come, otherwise I’m starting to think resale is the way to go for new purchasers. Luckily we bought in a few years ago (and missed the crazy price increases too.)

Yeah. This has gotten out of hand. Not to mention that there are no real blue card perks anymore without the AP discount. 20% off souvenirs and 10% off TS restaurants is nice, but not worth spending thousands more per point.

Yeah as one of those people who has waffled on buying in I'm now firmly on the buying resale at one of the classic resorts if I ever buy DVC. Looks like they're setting up for when the new Disneyland DVC opens up.

I’m not sure! They have had them since October at least. It’s kind of hidden down low on the mobile order.

Someone on the DIS Facebook group just posted this. Epcot firework testing tonight- he said it sounded like a full show- over 15 minutes.

Call me optimistic but all this testing lately has got to be gearing up to something returning sooner than later at Epcot.. Dances for good news soon!

So it’s Friday, and well, since we’re hoping Disney gets back to its ‘old self’, I thought I’d bring back some old school funky fresh moves to help it right along! Let’s get right to it!!!

Disney’s future is so bright... I gotta wear shades for this dance. Groovy shades. You know, the ones all the great grandparents wear.




But enough of that sweet and innocent stuff, I’m not going to be a drag... Instead I’m going to kick things into high gear now and turn things up...




We got some great news yesterday, but we want more... Disney News Gods - I know you feel these sweet moves I’m layin’ down. And when you do, we want you to open more restaurants up...

What’s in your way of seeing clearly on some rides?! Oh, it’s PLEXIGLASS! And we want it gone already jive turkeys!

Why are some resorts open but not all?! We don’t know either! So let’s send some good vibes out and ask for the rest open NOW!

It jolted me right out of bed at the YC! But I didn’t mind it at all, holy moly those were some amazing fireworks. I had a perfect view from my balcony. They were ginormous.
