Expedition Everest in the dark is so much better. I’ve been missing that experience.

I agree 100%. Riding at night is a total better experience. In fact I will not ride it during the day anymore because I want to treasure that nighttime memory.

I'd love to see After Hours come back, We've done several of them and they are one of the best offerings Disney ever put out- not because of the night time hours, but because the parks were actually near empty. AK after dark is amazing, but it's the ability to ride everything with no wait at all, then strolling around a park and not see anyone for long periods of time that make it what it is. We'll do them anytime they're offered. The free ice cream didn't hurt.

Hours dropping through September 18. Looks like September 11 is the unique situation with MK closing at 7 for now.

Disney World Releases Park Hours Through Mid-September

I’m still waiting for mid-October, so I know there could be drastic changes because of the 50th. That said, I really wish they’d open Epcot at 9am and close AK later. I love Pandora at night. Instead of opening at 8am, push it back, open at 9am and close late.

Then again, they may be planning to have Extra Magic Hours at AK some nights.

Unless you count the Plaza Ice Cream Parlour updated menu news, ...no.

Disney has updated the layout for the Epcot Festival of the Holidays page. No real content changes...they just modified the festival offerings from being in a grid format to being in a list format.

So far, it's still called "Taste of Epcot..." and the Candlelight Processional is still listed, even though the link remains broken.

Maybe because this Friday is part of the holiday weekend. And they just want the fireworks to lead the news right now.

Yeah, I am not expecting any real news until maybe next week, maybe even Tuesday.

I always associate bad news dumps with Friday afternoons before a holiday (hoping the news gets buried), so I'll take a nice quiet 7/2 over any big news released

Not sure if it’s just me but when I search on Disney site for the Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP tour it no longer comes up. Ive been checking monthly for the past eight months to see when it would become available again because it’s been saying temporarily unavailable due to COVID but now there is nothing when you try to pull that up. I also checked the Ultimate Nights of Adventures tour and that’s gone as well. And lastly I checked the Ultimate Disney Classics VIP tour and again no longer on site. Very odd because these have been around forever but once COVID happened they temporarily suspended these type of tours and special experiences… and now completely gone from website.

Right I saw that. My family books the group VIP tours (ultimate day of thrills etc) as it’s cheaper than the private VIP tours and we still have a great time. I hope they don’t get rid of those experiences because we do it every trip.

I bet you're right. And the beginning of the week might be slow, too, as they bask in the news reports (free publicity) of "Fireworks were back this year! Even at Disney World!"

I'd be shocked if it happened. Without them having done something by the 4th, I think they're doing what they're doing with absolutely everything- holding it back for the anniversary. Maybe they've decided they're not releasing anything until they get the paid system up and running and since they can't seem to do that, we're just out of luck.
