Not a free perk but you had to be staying on site to be able to get a dining plan (and it was "free" sometimes)

I also want to add that boats are still not running to Disney Springs, and Epcot monorail is mia, so not all transportation is up an running yet.

Well, since I consider the dining plan to be a product of the devil himself, it was never a perk to us. Yes, the transportion or lack thereof factored heavily into where we stayed this next trip. The boats at FW are not running to WL or the Contemporary either and I read all sorts of troubles with busses. It's a downgrade that we now feel the need to uber exclusively, but can't Uber to the MK, so transportation there without using the busses was key.

Disneyland Paris opens testing facility in Disney Village

Disneyland Paris will get a testing facility on site in Disney Village 49 EUR for PCR test, 29 euro for Antigen, for tourists who need a test to get back home. So it's not to get access to the parks.

Great news because the testing facilities in the area were hard to reach as a tourist, and opening hours were short and inconvenient for people visiting the parks.
Appointments can be booked online: https://disney.loxamed.fr/

So what "perks" do onsite guests have currently?

Transportation?
Location (in some cases)?

No package delivery
No dining plans
No FP advantage
No EMH

Surely I am missing more, right?

Location, which means deluxe and only some of them at that. Which isn't actually a "perk" at that point bc you're certainly paying for the convenience of the location.

We really missed the boat to Springs from OKW last December. Took forever to get there on the bus! We also stayed at BLT last September and it was such a disappointment to not have the epcot monorail, although it wasn't too horrible using the bus since there is only the one bus stop.

I don't disagree with this one at all. Perks should be extended only to resort guests. There are few enough of them as it is. I'm betting the good neighbors are paying for that little benefit.
The Disney Springs hotels stand on land owned by Disney, so I’m sure they pay $$ to lease the land and want something for their guests in exchange. I’m not sure about the Bonnet Creek Hilton and the Waldorf Astoria, since Disney does not own that land (was never able to acquire it) - maybe they get privileges as a poke in the eye of the Wyndham timeshare there!

So, are meet and greets coming back? https://**************.net/2021/07/...al&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

New costume for Cowboy Goofy in Disneyland Paris.

A new costume for Cowboy Goofy, basically it's a new shirt and hat. But this time with a vest, scarf and real cowboy gloves.
Cowboy Goofy can be met for selfies in Frontierland. The new costume should debut this weekend.
The old costume was used in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show (this show got permanently cancelled during the first Covid closure) and Cowboy Goofy could be met at hotel Cheyenne.

We were looking forward to Trail end breakfast as a buffet.. The skillet looks good buuuuuuuuuuut can we get a second skillet just filled with bacon??????

Ok, we aren't that bad......but on vacation, I 'd say 4 or 5 slices is about normal.
We did this at Garden Grill all the time in the before time. They would ask what more we wanted and would just say bacon and/or eggs. You can usually ask for certain items to be removed upfront when they take your drink order.

No luggage transfer (One of our most favorite things...drop off at home airport and don't see again until it's left in your room.)
Also Magical Express going away very soon!

Hours dropping through September 18. Looks like September 11 is the unique situation with MK closing at 7 for now.

Disney World Releases Park Hours Through Mid-September
This is our week 😀 Sept 12-18

These hours are pretty good for Sept, that in itself should help spread out guests and keep waits lower.

MK 9-9
EP 11-9
HS 9-8
AK 8-6

On our last trip most park days were only 8 or 9 hrs. Now 10 to 12 hours, much better!
