It's a federal requirement for public transportation. Disney isn't public transportation. They also don't require it on the boats. Its a federal requirement.

Darn, would love to attend, but I can't do a November and a December trip! Always wanted to go to one of these, but it seems like most were always on the West Coast?
I guess Universal is completely ignoring this. No masks on their resort buses to the parks.
Dang, why didn't I think of that!?!?!Our strategy was to ride Dinosaur, get stuck, get evacuated, get a fastpass, then ride safari with 5 minute wait...![]()
We hopped a bus at AK the other day and a couple of women walked on without masks and the driver handed them masks and said it was due to the federal DOT mandate. Why are they still requiring mask on transportation?
Further proof not to trust anything a busdriver says!We hopped a bus at AK the other day and a couple of women walked on without masks and the driver handed them masks and said it was due to the federal DOT mandate.
I agree, it sure can. I kinda felt bad pushing my family this morning, but everyone agreed it was so worth it when we had so much done and could do a slower pace in the afternoon and then revisit some things they liked. Thanks again-that strategy is what we recommend to them, they just need to follow it. It can crumble fast if they are not timely.
We were on Disney transportation yesterday and today and masks are still required.Dang, why didn't I think of that!?!?!

Star Tours – The Adventures Continue: 90 minutes
I know that, but my question is why are they still requiring mask on transportation? Its a federal requirement.
I'd love to know the reason for none of the stage shows coming back. Even FOTLK is not really FOTLK. If they can up capacity and let vaccinated cast remove their masks both indoors and out, there's no reason why shows can't come back. Is it a contractual thing or just the $$$$? I can't believe they'd permanently remove Nemo though unless they plan on replacing it asap.Anyone heard rumors about Finding Nemo the Musical? I stumbled across a rumor on another WDW message board that it was closed permanently. AK definitely needs more attractions if that is the case.
Ok so I just checked Boo Bash dates for a friend and they seem to have increased capacity for dates that were sold out last night in Sept. and Oct. I’m only seeing first party and Halloween as sold out now...
Guess this means those hoping for a very low crowd experience are going to be disappointed.Blog post to go with your update:
Previously sold out 'Disney After Hours Boo Bash' nights once again available for sale
