LOL…Disney is slowly assimilating (or partnering with) all of DH’s fandoms. He wasn’t a Disney Guy when we first met, but Disney has solved that problem for me nicely. All they need now is a partnership with the NHL, and he’ll be the one nagging me to book another trip…

They had one already! Disney owned the Anaheim Ducks from 1993 to 2005. That’s why they still have Anaheim Ducks Day at Disneyland in January.

We went to see them in the late 90’s, still have the jersey.

But as those times have been gone for a lotta years, I’d like to see a new partnership, ideally with the league as a whole rather than a specific team, since I doubt they’d pair up with Toronto. ;-)

Not totally a branding deal but for 23 and 24 they did simulcasts of Hockey games with a crossover of Big City Greens.

Maybe now that ESPN broadcasts more games they could have more crossover events.
