The Disney Dream will begin early 2024 with an assortment of three- and four-night getaways to the Bahamas and five-night vacations to the western Caribbean, all of which will feature classic Disney Cruise Line experiences such as Broadway-style shows, innovative dining, character encounters and fireworks at sea.

All sailings from Florida will include a stop at Castaway Cay, a picturesque private island oasis reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests. Located in the turquoise waters of the Bahamas, Castaway Cay provides the ultimate escape with something for everyone in your family, including adventure, relaxation and quality time with the family.

Tropical Vacations from Central Florida

The Disney Wish will kick off 2024 with three- and four-night voyages to Nassau, Bahamas, and Castaway Cay departing from Port Canaveral, Florida, Disney Cruise Line’s home port located just one hour from Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. Cruises aboard the Disney Wish combine enchanting entertainment and numerous Disney Cruise Line firsts, bringing to life Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars stories around every corner of the vessel.

Also from Port Canaveral, the Disney Fantasy will continue seven-night sailings to the white-sand beaches of the eastern and western Caribbean. Eastern Caribbean cruises will visit Tortola and St. Thomas, while western Caribbean itineraries will feature the ports of Cozumel, Mexico; Grand Cayman; and Falmouth, Jamaica. Every Disney Fantasy sailing also includes a stop at Castaway Cay, along with several days at sea, giving your family more time to enjoy all the fun and relaxation offered on board.

The Disney Magic will have two limited-time engagements in Galveston in early 2024. After ringing in the New Year from the Lonestar State, the ship will embark on Caribbean adventures ranging in length from four to six nights through the end of January. Upon returning for another month-long stint between March and April, the ship will sail cruises ranging from four to seven nights to the western Caribbean during the popular spring break period.

New Orleans will welcome the Disney Magic back for a second consecutive year in February 2024 with four-, five- and seven-night cruises to the Caribbean. The Big Easy is the perfect city to extend your vacation either before or after your cruise to enjoy jazz and jambalaya in the city that inspired Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Princess and the Frog.”

Was that Cody? I’m going to say that was Cody and be happy (and be disappointed later if it wasn’t).
Yes. Given the conversation, Commander Cody appears aligned with the Empire.

As a Jedi Master, I'm pleased to see that my fellow Jedi Wookie uses his light saber and brings a little more civilized approach to fighting the Empire. Blasters are so clumsy.

Disney World price increases go into effect today across all four theme parks

Walt Disney World ticket prices have increased today, with park-specific pricing joining the existing date-based pricing for single-day single-park tickets.

Disney's Animal Kingdom is now the cheapest park to visit, followed by EPCOT, with Magic Kingdom priced the highest at $189. The previous pricing model varied by date, but all parks were priced equally.

Also, new today is the automatic allocation of a theme park Park Pass reservation at the time of purchasing a single-day ticket. Guests no longer need to buy a ticket and make a Park Pass reservation.

The range of pricing for single-day tickets at Walt Disney World is:

  • Disney's Animal Kingdom $109 - $159
  • Disney's Hollywood Studios $124 - $179
  • EPCOT $114 - $179
  • Magic Kingdom $124 - $189
ETA: Starting Pricing for Multi-Day Tickets

  • 1 day — remained the same at $109
  • 2-day — was $107, increased to $112
  • 3-day — was $107, increased to $114
  • 4-day — was $106, increased to $114
  • 5-day — was $91, increased to $99
  • 6-day — was $78, increased to $85
  • 7-day — was $69, increased to $75
  • 8-day — was $65, increased to $70

4 Ways to Enjoy the Holidays at Walt Disney World with MagicBand+

1. Exchange holiday greetings with your favorite Disney characters during the Disney Fab 50 Quest

2. Sparkle with the show during “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” and Nighttime Spectaculars

3. Customize your MagicBand+ with a holiday light-up theme

One of the best ways to make MagicBand+ your own is by customizing your band with unique light-up themes found in the My Disney Experience app. If you head to the MagicBand+ section of the app, you can select your own light up theme for your band. During the holiday season, a festive light up theme will be available. If you like twinkly lights during the holidays as much as I do, you will love using this effect to bring a merry effect to your wrist! Simply double-tap the top of your band to activate the effect and show off your holiday spirit

4. Conveniently link your holiday Disney PhotoPass memories

The way they handled selling this was a bit ridiculous. Our 1st MK day was day of release. All day long the app kept telling us we needed to be closer to the Emporium to do the Mobile Order (MO was the only way to purchase). On our way out of MK we stopped by the Emporium to place MO but nope, still didn’t work. We had 4:30pm HDDR so decided to just try again on our 2nd MK day. We remembered that afternoon to try again. Went over and tried MO from inside the Emporium again to no avail. Asked a couple CMs about it but nobody knew anything. We had a few more things to do before leaving, then went back and got on line at Emporium. That CM didn’t know and asked the manager, who told us to try the popcorn cart since they likely know more about popcorn bucket specifics. Go over there, get on line and ask. That CM said we needed to place the Mobile Order around the direct area of that popcorn cart, but it was 6:15pm and Mr Toad bucket can only be ordered through Mobile Order before 6pm. :rotfl2: Did not purchase because we could not, an not for a lack of trying.
This was easily available this week at the popcorn cart near the Circus.
