Oh, come on now, they have flavors like Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry - perfectly tame. Gelato is just a little softer.

If you have ever had real gelato in Italy then you know pretty much known of what they sell in the US will every compare..LOL.

On occasion, I have had authentic gelato in the US, but they were all places where the owner was either from Italy or had lived in Italy to learn how to make gelato. Nothing I have had at Disney was very authentic though.

I hope they just open it one day with no prior notice. If they send out press release, a million bloggers will all be in line to ride the circuit first thing. There will be 4000 videos showing the same circuit and just what hasn't changed. I'd rather they just quietly open it, and maybe pick a few families to take the first ride.

Crystal Palace Now Serving Mixed Drinks

The Crystal Palace now has specialty cocktails, joining other Magic Kingdom table service restaurants. As a reminder, you still can’t get alcohol outside of table service restaurants at Magic Kingdom, but Disney continues to push the boundaries of what Walt Disney meant when he said “no liquor, no beer, nothing”.

Here’s a look at the new cocktails at The Crystal Palace.

• Last Word ($18) – Fords Gin, Green Chartreuse Liqueur, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, and Lime Juice garnished with Luxardo Cherries
• Jack Rose ($13.50) – Laird’s Applejack Brandy, Hibiscus Grenadine, Lemon Juice, and Lime Juice
• Bloody Mary ($14.50) – Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Bloody Mary Mix garnished with Cucumber, Grape Tomato, and Green Olive

the only one i would watch anyway is Molly cuz i know she used to be a cast member for the train. i know 100% she will cry when she gets to go on it again

Wondering if Disney will decide to cancel their purchase of that partial completed ship in favor of just putting their money into the two remaining Wish class ships.

According to a report they spent about $41-$42M to buy the ship.

I don’t think they’re canceling that acquisition, although they will probably spend about $1 Billion outfitting it for their requirements.

Walt Disney World Selects University of North Carolina’s Tylee Craft for 2022 Disney Spirit Award

University of North Carolina wide receiver Tylee Craft was named the recipient of the 2022 Disney Spirit Award just eight months after nearly losing his life to lung cancer. Craft, 20, is now working to resume his playing career while also supporting other people going through similar medical struggles.

North Carolina head coach Mack Brown delivered the news to the team after practice recently.

“Tylee has had an unbelievable impact on all of us. Whether it’s on the team as a player, a coach or staff, our university and our state,” said UNC head coach Mack Brown. “The Disney Spirit Award to me is the best award that I’ve ever had a player get because of its meaning.”

The Disney Spirit Award has been presented by Walt Disney World Resort every season since 1996 and seeks to honor the most inspirational figure in college football. Craft embodies the essence of the award after being diagnosed with stage 4 large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma, a rare form of lung cancer, on March 14, 2022. According to his family, doctors said he was just weeks away from dying when they realized he was sick and took him to the hospital. Doctors at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center immediately started Craft on an aggressive regimen of chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
