Yeah it’s useful on high crowd days where in the past you’d see phased closures and people would get turned away.

I’m indifferent towards the reservation system and kind of view it as an easier replacement to 180 day ADRs for those of us who planned that far out at least as far as WDW is concerned.

Agreed. I have no problem with the reservation system. My big issue is park hopping at 2PM. Make that earlier, or no time restriction, and I'm happy. They don't need to change anything else in my mind.

WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure at Disney California Adventure Closing for Refurbishment in January 2023

The attraction will close for refurbishment on January 9, 2023. At this time, the Disneyland Resort calendar only goes through January 10, so the length of the closure is unknown.

New Chicken and Waffle Bowls Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney World has announced that there will be some new menu items coming to Fairfax Fare starting November 29th. Here’s the announcement and a look at the new menu items:

Starting Nov. 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can enjoy one of the three new Chicken and Waffle bowls at Fairfax Fare!

If you're not interested in "Hey Disney," here are a few notes:

When you arrive in your room, "Hey Disney" will be muted. Once unmuted, the digital voice assistant will listen for the wake words “Hey Disney” or “Alexa.”

You can keep the device muted during your stay.

ETA: As Disney puts it, "Hey Disney is complimentary and also completely optional." You can just unplug for your stay - or you can contact Front Desk if you want it removed from your room for your stay.

Oh those are priced a bit higher than I was expecting. Hope someone posts a review of the Korean BBQ one before 12/9 when I was planning on getting one. Yikes!!!

New Gelato Stand In Muppets Courtyard in Hollywood Studios

Over at Muppets Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios you can now find a NEW gelato stand! The Cast Member we spoke to said that they think this spot will be permanent. Of course, that’s just what we were told by one Cast Member, so we’d advise that you take that with a grain of salt, but it’s still interesting to see an entirely new snack stand pop up in the park.


At the kiosk, there were a few gelato flavors available, including Cookies & Cream, Chocolate, Dulce de Leche, and Vanilla.


There was also a flavor of the day available, which was Pumpkin Cheesecake during our visit.

The EPCOT International Festival of the Artspresented by AT&T returns to celebrate visual, culinary, and performing arts beginning Jan. 13, and today we’re sharing a first look at who will take the stage at my favorite part of the festival – the DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series! Dining package pricing the 2023 DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series at EPCOT

Eight restaurants at EPCOT will be offering DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series Dining Packages at lunch and dinner. Each package includes:

• An appetizer, entrée and dessert or one full buffet (where applicable), along with a nonalcoholic beverage
• One guaranteed seat per person to a DISNEY ON BROADWAY concert held on the same day

Reservations will open December 13 2022, and are recommended. If you don't want to make advance plans, Regal Eagle Smokehouse will be offering same-day walk up packages without a reservation.
