I know that the resorts are refusing entry to people arriving via private car unless they are guests of that resort or have dining reservations but I just want to know if that policy still applies to those arriving via Uber who want to visit resort to look around or go a quick service or bar.

From various reports I’ve read, it might depend on the resort (the very near park resorts like CR are more restrictive especially near park opening time) and the guard. IOW, YMMV!

It seems to depend on where you are trying to go. If Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Yacht/Beach and Boardwalk then you could have an issue because of the proximity to the parks. Lots of people try to get dropped off at the MK resorts so they can avoid the TTC. But, it seems to depend on the guard working the gate that day.

For Boardwalk and Yacht/beach you could play it safe and get dropped off at Swan or Dolphin where there are no guards.

They've also opened a Pepe's at Mohegan Sun Casino. They brought in the special pizza oven (same as NH), we live pretty close to MS, but we haven't been to the Pepe's outpost yet.
And you, MY FRIEND are not a "snob". I no longer order pizza anywhere else but CT, lol!

Traditional Character Meet and Greets Returning to Disney Cruise Line​

Disney Cruise Line has announced that traditional character meet and greets are returning this month.

This may mean characters will once again walk among guests during select dining experiences, but this was not specifically announced as returning.

Traditional character greetings return to all Disney Cruise Line ships by August 29.

Landscaping Installed Around Walt Disney World Railroad as Testing & Construction Continues at TRON Lightcycle / Run​

We’re back in the Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland to observe more updates to TRON Lightcycle / Run as well as Tomorrowland Light & Power Co., which remains closed for the time being.

The walkways continue to get carved out while the construction equipment remains in the area.

The area is looking flatter with concrete soon to come.

The planters outside of the attraction are filled with dirt and the construction equipment has shifted off to the sides.
