Disney World Teases Fall Annual Passholder Magnet, Will Be Mailed Directly

Disney World has teased a new Annual Passholder magnet for the Fall season. While they haven’t shared what character will be on the magnet just yet, they announced something that is probably more important to Passholders – the Fall magnet will be mailed to Passholder homes.

With the most recent Passholder magnet release, we saw a lot of feedback from Passholders who wished that Disney would mail the magnets to their homes. It sounds like Disney heard the same feedback and is encouraging Passholders to make sure that their contact information is up to date.

Ooooh, so I might get my first passholder magnet?? I’ll believe it when I get it 😆😆

I know that the resorts are refusing entry to people arriving via private car unless they are guests of that resort or have dining reservations but I just want to know if that policy still applies to those arriving via Uber who want to visit resort to look around or go a quick service or bar.

Disney World Increases Annual Passholder Merchandise Discount for Limited Time

From September 14 through October 14, 2022, the Passholder merchandise discount will temporarily increase from 20% to 30% at owned and operated locations across Walt Disney World Resort.

Boo… I know it’s convenient for out of state incredi pass holders who can’t go as frequently but never got the first orange bird magnet (friend gave me hers) or the newer generic Mickey when programs turned over (finally did upon renewal)

First Look at Journey of Water Inspired by Moana Design Details

Walt Disney World has released new photos of design details for Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana,” a new walkthrough attraction under construction at EPCOT. See the photos and read more from Disney below.

Designed for all ages, Journey of Water will allow guests to explore and engage with water as it travels from our skies to our oceans and back again. Walt Disney Imagineering partnered with artists and cultural consultants from Walt Disney Animation Studios to bring this experience to life, and our team tasked themselves with capturing the beauty of the natural water cycle within the attraction. We were also inspired by Moana’s fierce determination to protect her environment – her bond with water is unique, and we are excited for guests to learn about the importance of water and experience its playful personality just as she did.

You can likely just ask the Uber driver to let you out in front and walk in.

Wish Granted! Disney Genie+ Adds Next Eligible Booking Time to My Disney Experience App

As you can see, a new banner has been added to the top of the Tip Board that shows you when you can make your next Disney Genie+ selection. Essentially, there are three states – immediately, when the 120-minute rule elapses, or when your Lightning Lane return window closes. Of course, guests who are familiar with the Disney Genie+ system will know that there is one more option – when you enter the Lightning Lane and redeem your selection for a particular attraction. In that case, the app simply switches to “now”.

That's a nice change. I always had to try and make a LL just to see when my next booking window was.

Now if they’d just let us pick times, I would have no real complaints.

Annual Passholder Magnet Distribution Begins Today at EPCOT

Guests who may have missed out on the Mickey and Minnie 50th Anniversary Annual Passholder magnet can now get it at Creations Shop in EPCOT. The distribution is at the northwest entrance to Creations Shop, where Cast Members and signage will direct you on how to get your magnet. Note that if you already got your magnet from Disney Springs, you will not be able to get a second magnet at EPCOT. Unlike the Disney Springs distribution earlier this summer, there is no Virtual Queue for the distribution at EPCOT. Here’s a look at the distribution, which operates from park open to park close.
