Just a short walk away from Avengers Campus, work has started to make the magic of “Frozen” come to life!

Here’s what to expect:

• When you arrive at the heart of the park, you’ll be immersed in the same wintery atmosphere experienced during the movies. Elsa’s Ice Castle, which will stand at the top of a 131-foot-high snow-covered mountain, can be admired from afar. Many new experiences await you in this magical land including a new attraction that will take guests on a journey accompanied by the iconic “Frozen” characters.
• The village — with its Norwegian-inspired architectural style — will be home to both a shop and a restaurant that will serve meals with a Nordic touch.
• Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to meet their favorite characters during a royal meet and greet.

Disney launches new 'Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind' opening date countdown on official website​

The page for Cosmic Rewind shows a brief video of EPCOT, the Guardians characters, and the coaster's ride vehicle.

I'm sure I'm in the minority but I'm so happy we miss this opening on our trip next month. DH will never ride it and I get severe motion sickness. I would like to try it eventually but I'm very concerned about that spinning.

Any whispers of Magicband+? We are waiting to order our magic bands for our September trip because a) we're curious about + and b) the selection is awful. But now I'm wondering if they are phasing out magicband2.0 because the stock of the resort choices has slowly dwindled down to now only 13 available. We prefer magic bands to our phone or cards because I try to unplug as much as possible while in Disney and our kids love them. We also use past years bands as craft project to showcase our souvenirs so it's not possible to use last years bands. And buying them anywhere but disney is like 40$! Fingers crossed they announce something soonish.

Would not shock me if it's delayed due to component shortage. The new Magicband+ is certainly more complex than the old one and who knows if they can source the components.

Entertainment Roaring and Soaring in New Ways at Disney’s Animal Kingdom​

Just in time for summer fun, we’re shifting the focus of the show so guests will be able to experience “Disney KiteTails” from anywhere around the Discovery River Lagoon, with shorter and more frequent performances throughout the day.

Between “Disney KiteTails” performances, Discovery River will come alive with our Character Flotillas! Setting sail in succession, these high-energy boats will fill the waters throughout the park with music, EARidescent 50th anniversary moments and characters including Mickey and friends, Timon, Rafiki and Pocahontas several times each day. You won’t want to miss it!

Speaking of guest favorites, you may have seen a teaser recently about a certain group of high-flying primates making their return to “Festival of the Lion King.” It’s true! Not only will the delightful Tumble Monkeys be back to their acrobatic hijinks this summer, but the show’s iconic birds will once again soar above the stage. That’s sure to have our guests feeling the love!

That’s not the only excitement on the horizon. Guests visiting the park will soon be able to share a high-five with Mickey & Minnie at Adventurers Outpost and take in the newly updated “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond” – both opening in the coming months as we continue to add even more magic to The World’s Most Magical Celebration!

Disney’s Mickey & Friends CAMP Experience Coming Soon to New York City​

CAMP and Disney have teamed up for their first-ever Mickey & Friends Experience coming soon to New York City.
The Mickey & Friends Experience will be a “larger-than-life adventure where families climb, zip, slide, bounce, dance, and work together to save the day.”

The experience is for adults and kids ages 2 and up. Tickets grant guests a 1-hour immersive experience.
A pre-sale for the experience is currently open for D23 and Disney Vacation Club members. A code for the pre-sale can be found on membership websites and tickets can be purchased on the CAMP website.

Starting today, new and updated menu items are available at Sanaa in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Chef Sahib Bhatti has incorporated his roots from Tanzania on the east coast of Africa into these dishes filled with spices and ingredients from the Indian subcontinent.

Be Our Guest Restaurant Opening One Hour Earlier at Magic Kingdom

Adding on to this: Be Our Guest is Serving BRUNCH in Disney World

During our visit, we were told about a brunch menu, meaning brunch is now being served at Be Our Guest until noon.

At the time of this writing, the brunch menu is not listed on the Disney World website, though our server informed us of a few new brunch offerings.


For our main dish, we ordered the Omelet with Crab Meat, which was described as a fluffy, savory egg omelet made with brie cheese and topped with lump crab meat and Choron sauce. It was also served with warm roasted potatoes.



For brunch, the kids menu features a breakfast platter with a Kids Mickey Waffle, Fluffy Mickey Eggs, Savory Bacon, and Roasted Potatoes. Our server also informed us that the Mickey waffles are available in an adult serving, which is a double portion of the kids Mickey waffle meal.
