So, this is posted by Disney Parks, does that mean it's coming back to Disneyland too!??! Everything I saw before this was just geared towards WDW.

After this, I'm just waiting for WDW AP sales to come back so that I can have an excuse to fly out to the other coast again soon!

If you zoom in to the bottom of the TikTok it shows…

I’d say so, but I guess we’ll have to wait for the official announcement.

2022 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival Begins July 14

Get your appetite ready to sip, savor and stroll because the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE returns to Walt Disney World Resort July 14 through Nov. 19.

The Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue Medicare returns this year with internationally recognized artists as well as local bands offering fun tunes on the America Gardens Theatre stage. Keep following the Disney Parks Blog for more details about the lineup of bands and musical artists playing this year’s festival.

But that’s not all! Beyond the sips and bites, a full menu of fun offers more ways for everyone in the family to enjoy the festival:

  • Embark on a Ratatouille-inspired adventure that’s très magnifique with Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak. Kids of all ages can search for Remy on a savory scavenger hunt around EPCOT – simply purchase your map and stickers from select festival merchandise locations.
  • Try delicious cheeses served in fun ways as part of Emile’s Fromage Montage – collect stamps in the festival passport after eligible purchases at select Global Marketplaces.
  • Commemorate your visit and bring the culinary magic home with official festival event merchandise, including apparel, home décor, trading pins and more.
  • In addition to the festival, discover incredible new EPCOT experiences during the Walt Disney World Resort 50th Anniversary celebration, including Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, “Harmonious” and the Spaceship Earth Beacon of Magic.

So 10 days without a festival this summer? Wow.

We'll be at Disney from July 10-16 and were planning Epcot day for the 14th or 15th. While I'm glad, I'll be there for Food & Wine, I'm kinda bummed that I'll be there for the first day or 2. Its going to be super packed now.

Disney World Seemingly Removes Weeks of Park Pass Reservation Availability Overnight for Annual Passholders

An update to the Disney Park Pass system appears to show that Disney World has removed A LOT of availability in the month of April for Annual Passholders. Yesterday, there was limited availability for April 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, but this morning, there is extremely limited availability for not only the first three days in April…but the first three weeks! Here’s a look at the Disney Park Pass availability for all four Walt Disney World theme parks in the coming weeks. Hopefully you like EPCOT.

If this is not a glitch, it’s possible that Disney has taken a considerable amount of theme park capacity away from Annual Passholders and either plans on reallocating it to other ticket types, or simply keeping capacity lower than planned. As of publish time, there has not been a noticeable bump in reservation availability for other ticket types, so it’s possible that Disney is simply attempting to manage capacity. What doesn’t seem likely is that weeks of reservations were simply made by thousands of Annual Passholders overnight.

Road Work to Take Place Near Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Through April 15

From now until April 15, road work will take place on Floridian Way, from the entrance of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to the Cast Member parking area. Flagpersons will be present to direct traffic during specific times of the day.

Guests and Cast Members driving through the area should be prepared for trucks and other traffic to enter the road periodically. There will also be intermittent stops to allow for deliveries near the entrance of the resort.

One of these days, I'd love to go to F&W again, the way it used to be structured we've never been able to go to the full festival since 2011. If they keep starting it in summer, we might get to go. (Kind of like the Halloween parties, lol. Didn't go to our first one until August 2019! I know it's weird being summer and all...but still glad to experience it.)

I didn't realize we were going to see F&G this year though! Assumed it would be over by the end of June and never even looked. My family hasn't experienced F&G yet, and DD and I only saw it briefly last year during a 3-park challenge kinda day the two of us did (which meant finding Kermit topiary, power walking around WS, and riding Soarin' and SE, kind of seeing F&G lol).

Might need to rethink our Epcot plan, esp if GotG is open.

It's always weird to me to see Muppets like that, but at the same time that's going to be super-interesting. I have always heard that Jim and those other Muppeteers would always be in character but also themselves, and that you could be talking to Jim about anything, like what to have for lunch, and he would respond, and Kermit would respond, and you'd find yourself talking to Kermit directly as if he were a third person. The level of genius that it takes to do something like that is just extraordinary!
