Hope that the boards are not affected… love this one.. thank you for all the hard work!

Thank you so much for the kind words! 🤗 I’m assuming the boards/system as a whole will be updated… shouldn’t affect any of the threads. Even if they did, we’d just start a new one! 😊 You guys are the best! I look forward to to coming on here every day!:grouphug:

Do they honestly think people were sitting around for 2 years waiting for DisneY to recall them???

It's like your ex dumping you and then calling you 2 years later to see if you want to move in together.

Of course they have new jobs, like at Applebees or something. It’s likely that a few loved their old job and want to come back. It’s nice that Disney is staying true to their word.

Disney Posts Auditions for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue Cast

Disney World has posted auditions for the return of the show. The roles below are for substitute and casual temporary positions only as current full-time equity and character Cast Members are under consideration and do not need to attend auditions. Here are the roles up for audition:

  • Claire DeLune: Johnny’s girl; she’s adorable, lovable and flirtatious, full of life and best known for her outrageous “giggle.” Singer who dances.
  • Dolly Drew: Strong woman and “Annie Oakley” type. Vaudevillian style Comedian. Her mannerisms and style are less than demure. Character actor/comedienne.
  • Flora Long: Beautiful leading lady; sweet and petite; vocal soloist-soprano.
  • Jim Handy: Leader of the troupe; a leading man type; handsome, outgoing, friendly, vocal soloist-heroic bass/baritone.
  • Johnny Ringo: Handsome, dapper; the song and dance man; a true gentleman. Classic air of sophistication. Singer who dances.
  • Six Bits: A “punster”, Vaudevillian style Comedian; his brand of humor is often slapstick. Character actor/comedian.

2nd feature I found cool is if you scroll down a little past the message box, where you type a reply, they give you suggestions for similar threads!

3rd feature is the little dots along the top of the message box… each section brings up additional functions.

New wording on the genie+ section online spelling out that if you purchase you can expect to skip the line of 2-3 attractions if you book early in the day (out of the 40+ Offered )
I'm sorry, you get to skip the line of 3 rides if you are lucky they are saying?! And if you don't book early? I'd like to see them say something about that.

I tell you what, if that’s true and going on when I go end of September, I won’t be paying the $15 if at most I’m paying to skip 2/3 lanes. They really are continuing to take the piss. Each DW trip is becoming more stressful and less value. I can see myself looking at Tokyo Disney for my 50th.

Several years ago (maybe 20+) our family had dinner at WCC. We had all of the shenanigans. The one thing that I'll never forget was when the server brought over a large stuffed bear to the table and put it next to my Mom (in her late 60's). I can't remember why the bear was brought over. My mom played along and said, "The bear is eating me!" The server without missing a beat, replied "Ma'am we're trying to keep this a family show." All of the adults about fell out of our chairs!

'Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind' preview timetable begins to take shape at EPCOT

The latest information, although not yet officially announced, suggests that media previews will take place during the first week of May 2022, with Club 33 previews shortly after.

Assuming that previews follow the recent opening of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT, alongside previews for Club 33 members, we should also expect previews for D23, Cast Members, and Annual Passholders. It seems that random soft openings for guests who happen to be in the area are a thing of the past, with Disney preferring to use the soft opening period to plus the membership offerings for those select groups.
