So what is the hold up for extended magic hours for the 2nd week of May? Usually out on Fridays nothing yet.

It's not showing up on the Extended Evening Magic Hours page, but on the standard park hours calendar, they're showing the extra hours on May 9 for Epcot. Hours for Wednesday won't show up until tomorrow.

Multiple Showtime Changes Announced in Coming Weeks for Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire at Magic Kingdom

Here are the posted showtimes through April 2, 2022:

February 28 – March 2

• 12:15pm, 1:30pm, 2:45pm, 4:35pm, 6:10pm

March 3

• 12:15pm, 1:15pm, 3:15pm, 4:35pm, 6:10pm

March 4 – 8

12:15pm, 1:30pm, 2:45pm, 4:35pm, 6:10pm​

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort boat service to Magic Kingdom to be interrupted early March 2022

Watercraft services from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort to Magic Kingdom will be interrupted from March 3 2022 as maintenance work takes place on the dock area.

Boat transpiration closures will take place 11:45am to 3:15pm daily, with monorail transportation and the walkway remaining open for guests needing to move travel to Magic Kingdom.

The work is expected to be completed within a week, but specific dates are not available.

D3-O9 Character Will Not Be Available for Every Galactic Starcruiser Cruise

The D3-O9 interaction is processed through Artificial Intelligence and is the next frontier of storytelling according to Walt Disney Imagineering. Imagineers have described D3-O9 as a “limited playtest” and Disney notes that D3-O9 might not stick around forever on the Starcruiser:

umm...am I reading this to be that boat service IS available at other times before/after the window of 11:45am-3:15pm daily?

It sounds like it's not working perfectly yet. No voice recognition system ever works properly! So they might take it down for updates is what I'm hearing.

There was an article three days ago (on one of the banned sites so I'm not going to bother linking) noting that this was a test run. I've been out of the loop so I'm not sure how well the system worked in practice but I'm guessing it's not ready for primetime.

There are rumors that the D309 is constantly "listening" and some people aren't happy about it. Apparently, you have to opt-out to stop this from happening.

I'm remembering to the best of my ability and may have some of that wrong.

Disney Temporarily Closes Phone Line for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Bookings as More Dates Open

According to the Disney World website, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser availability has opened again for select dates in the month of May and June. It’s unknown if the reopening of dates for multiple cruises that showed up this morning as unavailable is legitimate or a website glitch, but Disney has closed the Galactic Starcruiser booking reservation phone line temporarily.

A pre-recorded message says that Disney “is not able to take additional calls at this time”, and apologizes for the inconvenience. Disney suggests that guests call back later today.

Assuming they are made in an air fryer which requires much less oil.
