New steel structure emerges on the roof of Connections Cafe and Guest Relations in EPCOT's World Celebration

The new steel isn't yet complete, but adds some significant height to the former Innoventions East area, with it being visible from the EPCOT parking lot.

Anaheim Ducks to Host Ducks x Disney Night February 27th at Honda Center

The Anaheim Ducks announced they have teamed up with Disneyland® Resort once again, kicking off with Ducks x Disney Nights Presented by Disneyland® Resort beginning Feb. 27, when the Ducks play the New York Islanders. Fans in attendance will have access to exclusive surprise and delight moments and unique activities all around Honda Center.

Additional Sunday home games on Mar. 6, Apr. 3, 17, and 24 will include Disneyland® Resort activations and promotions at Honda Center.

Showtimes Modified for Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire on March 3rd at Magic Kingdom

According to Disney, some showtimes will be adjusted for the yet-to-debut Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire at Magic Kingdom. So far, the adjustments listed below only apply to Thursday, March 3rd.

• 12:15pm (no change)
• 1:15pm (previously 1:30pm)
• 3:15pm (previously 2:45pm)
• 4:35pm (no change)
• 6:10pm (no change)

All other posted showtimes are as follows:

• 12:15pm
• 1:30pm
• 2:45pm
• 4:35pm

Disney Vacation Club is no longer giving out their famous backpacks with new direct member purchases. This swag has long been a right of passage for new members to display with pride in the parks, but now it has been moved to the curb to make way for a stick-on cell phone holder. Part of me likes to hope that the PopSocket says, “This cost me $30,000.”

Part of me likes to hope that the PopSocket says, “This cost me $30,000.”

Just waiting for someone to chime in and say it's just a supply chain issue (rather than blatant cheap-skatism).

Yes, DVC is changing the new member perk. The Popsocket is only a part of the new perk - no matter what you paid for your membership.

Fuentes del Morro Water Play Area Closing for Refurbishment at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort

Guests staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in the coming weeks should keep in mind that the Fuentes del Morro water play area will be closed for refurbishment beginning in late February. During that time, the feature pool nearby will remain open for our Guests. The water play area is expected to reopen in late March.



Additionally, while the Martinique pool is currently also closed for refurbishment, the leisure pools in the Aruba, Jamaica, Trinidad, and Barbados villages will remain open to Guests.

Blizzard Beach Refurbishment Extended Into May 2022

Disney has updated their internal calendars to reflect an extension of the Blizzard Beach refurbishment. Previously, the calendars only showed a refurbishment through mid-March. Now, the refurbishment has been extended indefinitely, going as far out as the calendar currently shows (May 6th).

we are planning to get water park add on for our AP when we renew in July, but if only one water park is open we won’t be. It seems like having both water parks open at once might be a thing if the past.
