How does that work? Are there 2 'buckets' of people who get to reserve at the parks?

I would think people who purchased tickets for specific days should have an advantage over annual pass holders?

There are 3 buckets: onsite resort guests (which can be AP or regular ticket holders), ticket holders staying offsite, and APs. Since APs are restricted by how many reservations they can hold at a time, they usually still have availability. Usually, it's the resort guests and ticket holder buckets that go first.

I would guess probably the most advantageous is an AP with a resort reservation. Removes the limit of reservations allowed and falls under the AP bucket which tends to have more availability.

I’m not an AP so my experience has only been as a resort guest or as an offsite ticket holder. I’ve also never experienced issues getting a park reservation for any of my trips so far.

PLEASE NOTE: Disney Cruise Line’s Reservation System Down For a Few Days in Early March

If you’re looking to book a Disney Cruise or access your existing reservation then you’ll want to make note of the following notice. Disney has announced that starting at 4:30pm on Monday, March 7, 2022 and lasting through the morning of Wednesday, March 9, 2022 Disney will be taking it’s Disney Cruise Line reservation system offline.

Disney has said that the system will be down for system upgrades.

There are no dates currently sold out for Annual Passholders.

For Guests staying in a Disney resort, March 1, 14, 15, and 16 for Magic Kingdom is already unavailable.




Same for Guests with just park tickets, Magic Kingdom is unavailable for those same dates. All dates and parks are still available for Annual Passholders.

Sunrise yoga is also available on March 31st, 2022 during the runDisney Springtime Surprise weekend, and, as of this writing, it’s not sold out yet! You can register right now for $95. But, on March 1st, it goes up to $105.

Sources are indicating the production title will be ”The Clauses” for the limited series. Given the franchise’s history with playing around with the double meaning of the word “clause” in each of its film’s titles, it seems possible for a new clause to be a part of the plot.
