Effective February 22, a new network name ("WDW Resorts Guest") will be available to Guest staying at the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Guests connected to that network can expect faster download and upload speeds.

Lengthy Construction at Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to Impact Resort Through 2023

Disney has announced that they will be starting construction and refurbishment at Disney’s Grand Floridian and Spa on March 1st. Here’s the announcement:

As we previously shared, we are working on our grand plans to expand and enhance The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Beginning March 1, Guests will notice construction and refurbishment work at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa during daytime hours. Most resort amenities will remain available to Guests throughout this work.

The work is expected to last into 2023 as Disney works on buildings furthest away from the main building and lobby.

Announcing Storyliving by Disney: New Business to Develop Residential Communities

I have some big news to share! As more fans look for new ways to make Disney a bigger part of their lives, today we are announcing plans to introduce Storyliving by Disney, vibrant new neighborhoods that are infused with our special brand of magic. Each community will feature distinctively designed spaces, unique amenities and Disney’s brand of world-renowned service. At each location, including some neighborhoods for residents ages 55+, Disney cast members trained in the company’s legendary guest service will operate the community association. Through a club membership, Disney will also provide access to curated experiences, such as wellness programming; entertainment ranging from live performances to cooking classes; philanthropic endeavors; seminars and much more.

Has anyone seen a dinner review yet? There was a “buffet is back” breakfast review on The Site Which Cannot Be Named, but I haven’t seen a dinner one yet. I’m seeing mixed comments about whether the AYCE crab legs are included or not, and I’d really like to confirm so I can decide whether to keep our March ADR or find something else.

Same. I can't figure out why they haven't brought the characters like Mickey who are in complete suits back at this point, I would think risk would be pretty low.
