FOOD BOOTHS Announced for Festival of Holidays at Disneyland Resort

Thanks for the note. I checked my meals and some changed enough to change my plans. Boma went up bit more then 20% for breakfast to $35. I like this place but feel the price is absurd with being non character meal that’s not conveniently located.

We are booked here one morning before we head over to AK. I'm thinking of skipping it now. There are enough snacks we want to try at AK along with Nomad that we don't have to start our day with a heavy buffet.

I dropped our Fireworks Dessert Party earlier today. Even though we have G+ added to our length of stay tickets (so I won't be dealing with the dynamic pricing) I feel like I need to cut costs where I can.

For the last 3-4 trips and going forward I now try to find ways to not give Disney more money while still enjoying the magic. So if I was to spend 275/night at riverside, I now hunt like crazy to rent dvc points at that same rate. Usually like Saratoga springs will get down that low. (That way Disney doesn’t get my money but I still can go get some magic). My now once per trip use of genie+ is now gone. No more. Bring my fave snacks and Mio for water flavorings instead of buying drinks.
This all just reinforces me to do that even more.

If I’m reading this right, instead of raising the price of the desert party, they instead removed beer and wine. Am I correct here?
Lame.

Disney DELAYS Release Dates for Several Upcoming Movies

According to Variety, Disney has delayed a bunch of movie release dates including several Marvel movies. First up, Blade has moved back almost a year from November 3rd, 2023 to September 6th, 2024. This is likely because the director Bassam Tariq recently left the project.

Fantastic 4 is moving from November 8th, 2024 to February 14th, 2025 and an untitled Marvel film has been pushed from February 14th, 2025 to November 7th, 2025.

After that, Avengers: Secret Wars is no longer premiering on November 7th, 2025 — the new release date is May 1st, 2026.

And last but not least, another untitled Marvel film that was originally set for May 1st, 2026 has been removed from Disney’s upcoming release calendar.

The snazzy mugs are refillable at select locations at Walt Disney World Resort. Mickey Blog discovered that the 50th Celebration Resorts Refillable Mug just increased by $2.00.

And the hits just keep on coming...

Disney Cast Members Will Receive Theme Park Admission AND Disney+ Bundle in 2023

Starting in 2023 Disney Cast Members will no longer have to choose between a Main Entrance Pass for theme park admission or Disney+ Bundle access. Disney has announced that Cast Members will receive both in 2023. Here’s the announcement:

Starting in early calendar year 2023, eligible employees and Cast Members will receive both a Main Entrance Pass for our parks and complimentary access to the Disney Bundle Basic (with ads) streaming service (Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu). No longer will you have to choose between the two! What a great way to experience all things Disney, from our theme parks around the world to our new movie releases, original series, sports, our timeless classics and so much more. We can’t wait for you to enjoy even more Disney magic!

Seriously?!?!

:oops::oops::oops:
Yes it was crazy crowded yesterday at AK. Sometimes Kilimanjaro gets backed up because the animals like to block the road, but we were very surprised how long the lightning lane was backed up. We decided not to get in the regular line because I knew we wouldn’t be moving because they would try to move the lightning lane along first.

If I’m reading this right, instead of raising the price of the desert party, they instead removed beer and wine. Am I correct here?

It sounded like this is for the holiday parties only but isn’t free cookies and hot chocolate included in the admission already and it’s got reduced admission numbers that you shouldn’t need to pay the extra $ for the reserved viewing, or is it still the crush of people in the hub? We always have an annual pass so I just can’t justify the price for our family of 5 to pay for the parties, so I have no clue.

First Disney Genie+ price rise goes into effect today at Walt Disney World
