Park Pass Reservations Filling For Halloween For Resort Guests and Ticket Holders

Park Pass availability is now LIMITED for Halloween day (October 31st) in Disney World. As of October 7th, when we checked, the Park Pass calendar showed that Park Passes for Magic Kingdom on October 31st have already SOLD OUT for those with theme park tickets. Park Passes remain available for EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.

When it comes to Annual Passholders, things are a bit different. October 31st is still fully open at all parks for Annual Passholders, but that could change in the future.

Give Kids the World’s Night of a Million Lights Returns for 3rd Year; New Venue Announced & Tickets on Sale

From November 11, 2022 through January 1, 2023, Island H2O Water Park in Kissimmee, FL, will be transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland featuring millions of lights, luminous displays, festive family activities and live entertainment for a one-of-a-kind, fully immersive holiday experience. Nightly entertainment will include performances by Dueling Pianos Jingle and Jangle and the strolling a cappella group Santa’s Dancing Reindeer, with DJ Jack Frost Ice Block Party leading an interactive holiday hits dance party. The Emmy Award-winning RWS Entertainment Group will once again partner with Give Kids The World and Island H2O Water Park to produce the event.

Largest-Ever HBCU Week Kicks Off at Disney World (Schedule & Details)​

High school students from across the Southeast and beyond have arrived at Walt Disney World Resort for the largest-ever HBCU Week featuring a huge college fair, a parade of high-stepping marching bands, a fierce battle of the bands and a live ESPN broadcast.

October 7:
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

• ESPN First Take Live Broadcast with hosts, Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim – Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
• HBCU Week College Fair – 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• HBCU Week Lunch and Learn Series – 11 a.m. – 2 p.m

October 8:
Magic Kingdom Park

HBCU Week Band Parades* – featuring Delaware State University, North Carolina A&T State University, Bethune Cookman University, Winston Salem State University and Alcorn University. Walt Disney World theme park ticket and reservation required.

• 9:20 a.m. NC A&T Cavalcade
• 2:35 p.m. Bethune Cookman & Winston Salem State Cavalcade
• 6:00 p.m. Alcorn State & Delaware State Cavalcade

This is an outdoor parade and subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Showtimes are subject to change.

October 9:
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

• HBCU Week Battle of the Bands– Delaware State University, North Carolina A&T State University, Bethune Cookman University, Winston Salem State University and Alcorn University
  • 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. ($25 ticket required)

Gates open at 12:30 p.m., and the event begins at 2 p.m.

Marvel Day at Sea Returning ‘Bigger Than Ever’ to Disney Cruise Line in 2023 on Disney Dream​

Marvel Day at Sea will return to Disney Cruise Line next year, this time on the Disney Dream instead of the Disney Magic. According to Imagineers at New York Comic Con, Marvel Day at Sea will be “bigger than ever” with even more “activations.”

Disneyland News:

Imagineers Discuss Development of Multiverse E-Ticket Attraction Coming to Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure​

During today’s Super Heroes at Disney Parks panel at New York Comic Con, Imagineers spoke about the upcoming multiverse E-ticket attraction for Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure.
The attraction will feature King Thanos, a version of the villain who “won,” and superheroes from across the Marvel multiverse. Characters like Werewolf by Night and Man-Thing were pitched for the attraction before they appeared in the special now available on Disney+.
Imagineers couldn’t say much more, except that they were excited to utilize the multiverse and an alternate Thanos for the attractions. The concept art features multiverse characters like Captain Carter, as well as characters from the MCU in different art styles.
Imagineers did also say that Avengers Campus references like W.E.B. may show up in future Marvel shows and films.
