And hey, posts are back for the moment, yay!
I had my personal first experience with the recent glitches, all my notifications said they happened tomorrow! Like it would say “Tomorrow at 5:44 pm”!

Had a good chuckle. Happy Tuesday every one! Headed to Disney Saturday for a short trip. Pretty excited!

Every time I post and it disappears…

DVC News/Disneyland:

The Villas at Disneyland Hotel DVC Construction Update – September 2022

As we reported previously, this 12-story tower is expected to include a variety of room accommodations, including smaller two-person studio villas, similar to the Tower Studio properties that are featured at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Proposed plans suggest that the resort will feature 271 Deluxe Studios, 38 smaller ‘Tower Studio’ style rooms, 19 One-Bedroom Villas, 20 Two-Bedroom Villas, and 2 Grand Villas.

MagicBand+ Features and Experiences Revealed for Disneyland Resort, Coming this Fall

This fall, MagicBand+ will make its momentous debut at Disneyland Resort, bringing the wearable technology to the West Coast for the first time! Today, I’m excited to share how this innovation will deliver hands-free convenience and unlock a new dimension of Disney storytelling.

MagicBand+ features and experiences will vary between Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Here’s a glimpse of it in action at Disneyland Resort!

At launch, this wearable will boast a host of convenient capabilities – with more to come in the future! Connect your MagicBand+ to your theme park ticket or Magic Key pass in the Disneyland app for an easy way to enter the Disneyland Resort theme parks (valid Park admission and reservation required), or use it to check in at Lightning Lane entrances (separate valid Lightning Lane entry required). After capturing precious memories with a Disney PhotoPass photographer, a tap of your band links the photos to your Disney account.

MagicBand+ also adds new, immersive elements and surprises to park experiences. In sync with special moments during select nighttime spectaculars, your band will complement the magic in the skies by pulsing with colorful, dancing lights and vibrations.

MagicBand+ will come to life during “World of Color” in Disney California Adventure park and “Fantasmic!” and select nighttime shows in Disneyland park. You’ll also be able to explore Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland park like never before with the Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters interactive quest.

MagicBand and MagicBand 2 will not be supported at Disneyland Resort at this time.

As is always the case with Disney, I'm really curious what "this fall" means! I can't help but think of the physical or digital infrastructure that would need to be built out first.

I honestly can't remember--do the Lightning Lane entrances at Disneyland have touchpoints/scanners already?

Buried in the meat of this announcement, old MagicBands won't be compatible at Disneyland. Only MagicBand+ which really sucks for those of us that frequent WDW too and already have bands! So they're launching this with only the new ones. Lame.

Yes they do! We would just use our park tickets to scan in whether on our phones or the physical, printed tickets. Common practice at Disneyland was always to wear lanyards to put your physical tickets in just for that purpose for easy access.
