Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel Signage Removed as Transformation to Pixar Hotel Begins​

As part of its ongoing transformation, the sign on Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel has been removed.

I had no clue they were doing this, I must have missed the announcement.

Flags were lowered to half-staff at Disneyland in memory of Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away earlier today at 96.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park Temporarily Closed Due to Inclement Weather​

Walt Disney World Resort Guests should be advised that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park temporarily closed due to inclement weather at 2:26 p.m. The water park will reopen when it will be deemed safe to do so.

In addition to that, other outdoor attractions and offerings (including Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf, Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf, and most outdoor rides) will be unavailable until the storm moves away from the area.

DisneyMe Feature Coming Soon to Play Disney Parks App​

Soon Disney Parks guests will be able to create their own “DisneyMe” digital avatar in the Play Disney Parks App. The DisneyMe feature allows guests to dress their avatar up, as well as change their skin tone and hair color.


It is initially launching on Disney Cruise Line as part of Disney Uncharted Adventuregame on the Disney Wish. This weekend, D23 Expo guests will be able to preview DisneyMe and use it on a special Expo quest. DisneyMe will then launch for all Play Disney Parks app users later this month.

Hollywood Facades to be Demolished, New Outdoor Theater Coming to Disneyland Paris Expansion​

As part of a major Disneyland Paris expansion, including a “Frozen” land, Walt Disney Studios Park will be getting a new promenade and lake soon. Concept art was released earlier this year. Now Disneyland Paris Works has shared images on Twitter of blueprints revealing more information about the project.

Hopefully this means Uncharted Adventure will be on the Wish “later this month” too. We sail on the 23rd.

In Florida not much the cavalcades and seasonal eats in 2020 were because they had no paywall events due to Covid restrictions

California meanwhile has haunted mansion & mission breakout overlays, Mickey & friends in Halloween costumes (with a different set of looks in each gate) as well as other seasonal character interactions for day guests outside of the oogie boogie bash paywall

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Coming to EPCOT This Fall
Walt Disney World has announced that from September 29th to October 31st (or while supplies last), unique Halloween fun for the whole family will be available at EPCOT with the new Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit.
With the purchase of a map and stickers, guests can search around EPCOT to look for hidden decorative pumpkins themed to Disney characters.
Whether they search for the pumpkins or not, guests may return their map to one of the redemption locations within the theme park to receive a small Food & Wine Festival keepsake item.

Journey of Water Inspired by ‘Moana’ Will Have a 16-Foot-Tall Te Fiti Figure​

Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana” at EPCOT will have a 16-foot-tall Te Fiti figure. Gustin indicated the figure will be at the attraction’s entrance, although a light green shape similar to Te Fiti is visible over a pond in the upper center of the above concept art, closer to the center of the walkthrough. It’s possible the location of Te Fiti changed in development.

BREAKING: Tiana’s Palace Restaurant Coming to New Orleans Square at Disneyland​

Tiana’s Palace, a new restaurant inspired by “The Princess and the Frog,” is coming soon to New Orleans Square at Disneyland.
Tiana’s Palace is Tiana’s restaurant at the end of “The Princess and the Frog,” and her version of a princess castle. An exact opening timeframe has not been released.
