Mickey Mummy Popcorn Bucket Returns to Walt Disney World for Halloween

The first night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is today, heralding the official start of spooky season at Walt Disney World. Lots of merchandise and special food and beverage offerings are available, including the returning Mickey mummy popcorn bucket.

We picked ours up at the snack kiosk in the Hub at the Magic Kingdom.

Hocus Pocus 2, 50th Anniversary Photo Ops Appear at Magic Kingdom for Halloween Season

Two new photo ops are now available in Magic Kingdom for the Halloween season. We’ll start with the obvious choice – Hocus Pocus 2. This new photo op can be found in Liberty Square behind the Christmas Shoppe.

There’s also a 50th Anniversary photo op in the Hub near the Plaza Restaurant. There appears to be a not-so-spooky backdrop hidden behind the blue tarp. It will likely be unveiled during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party events.

This is... not great. I did a very quick review of just character locations compared to 2019. Red circles are all 2019 character icons missing for 2022. Only new one I see is by Belle's cottage, which is presumably because that location is now a M&G instead of an attraction. Quite the bummer, considering the increased price.

I don't know! I really want a clean, front on shot of this map where I can read all the stuff clearly.

The spots with Elvis Stitch, Gravediggers, 7D are all true blanks. Then, there are several where there were two icons in 2019 and only one in 2022. The optimist in me wants to believe that they could still have the same characters there but they thought putting icons directly next to each other was too messy. The realist is pretty sure we're only one character in each of those areas, which would eliminate some combination of Alice/Queen of Hearts, and Aladdin/Jafar or (god forbid) Moana.
