No most things that have been summer have been end of June. Dates can change and can move up or be pushed back, but when they say summer they don't mean Memorial Day. Guardians coaster is expected for Memorial Day and Disney is saying late spring for it still, not summer.

Casting Call Gives First Look at Character Lineup for ‘Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!’ at Animal Kingdom

The show, which is set in the timeline of “Finding Dory”, will place guests in the Marine Life Institute. As the show begins, we’ll catch up with the fish from Dr. P. Sherman’s office in “Finding Nemo,” who have made their way across the ocean to California. They tell the story of Nemo and how they all got there, incorporating many of the beloved songs and production numbers from the original show.

While we saw an audition listed for Nemo and “ensemble” back in November, this recent listing gives us a better look into the lineup. Here’s the casting call:

• Bruce: 30s. A vegetarian great white shark. Can go from screaming rockers to an elegant soft shoe. Comedic baritone and able to handle harmonies.
• Crush: 20s – 30s. Laid back and fun-loving “surfer dude” turtle. Wise old father with the ability to rock. High tenor, must have effortless, sustained, full voice/mix high ‘C’.
• Dory: Mid – 20s. A forgetful, yet very optimistic lady fish and Marlin’s companion during this journey. Extremely quirky and an expert with comedic material. Character singer.
• Marlin: Mid – 20s. Over-protective yet very loving father, vulnerable. Huge heart, great comedic talent. Scared of virtually everything. Baritone and able to handle musical ‘patter’.
• Nemo: Early 20s. Plays youthful boy. Adorable, endlessly curious, spirited, childlike and fearless, yet at the same time naïve and vulnerable. Bright and youthful mix or belt. Vocal Range Ab3-Eb5.
• Gill: 30’s/40’s. Baritone. Tough talking maverick who comes with a great deal of wisdom and history. A wounded war hero type who carries his scars with him.
• Ensemble: Musical Theatre style. Strong vocalist and mover, with strong storytelling ability. Casting will have an intentionally inclusive BIPOC approach.

All roles will be realized by a diverse array of puppetry styles, including rod, bunraku, and hand puppetry.

The countdown continues with just one week until the final race weekend of the 2021-22 season, taking place during the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend! Spring into race weekend style with a sneak peek at some of the event merchandise, available starting Thursday, March 31, at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.

Other race weekend items include the debut of a new runDisney Spirit Jersey as well as Annual Passholder apparel.

runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend participants and guests are invited to attend during the following dates and times:

• Thursday, March 31, 2022: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Friday, April 1, 2022: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
• Saturday, April 2, 2022: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Prior to the closure Minnie Vans dropped off at the MK entrance. It was one big advantage over using regular Lyft or Uber who had to drop off at the TTC. Time will tell if that's the case going forward.

I just hugged my first character (I am in Paris) in 2 years and about to hug Goofy! Hang in there, Dis-friends, if we can hug here, it can't take long for you to get back to the magic!

Besides still some hand sanitizer stations and some people with masks, it really feels like normal again.

I have never queued so happily in my life! The lower crowds and the unique situations that happened with creative Disney solutions due to covid were fine to get my fix, there is nothing like the real thing.

The 30th anniversary show is so much fun and the drone show is amazing. Tonight is the 1st AP party in 2.5 years or so, and the crowds will be intense, and probably uncomfortable, but it is great to be really back.

There is no place like home.
