disney needs to get it together.....

If people would just relax and remain calm instead of succumbing to the frenzy I feel confident that Disney will handle the moves appropriately.

Yes ma'am! That's what I'm doing, however, I can tell you that if I arrive, after having not called and not panicked, and I get moved... then I will be annoyed.

We leave for AKL in 8 days!! :wizard:

Frankly..

I hope Disney has learned from this and will know in the future that some of these construction projects can not be completed in a timely fashion with guests staying IN the building where the work is on-going.

Clearly this is less of a problem at places like the Contemporary where the construction is a separate building location separate from the current guest areas (the tower and south garden).

The good news is.. that this too shall pass. Eventually.

BrodyJen - Did you call and speak to a supervisor or ask directly for Guest Services?

I wonder if they'll EVERY undertake something like this, in this manner, again.

I mean...room remodels are different, obviously. But the type of interior construction at an open resort...have we EVER seen anything like it before?

I have to wonder if, given what's happened so far, there's a snowballs chance we'll ever see it again.

That all depends.. I have heard some things that might indicate some other 'DVC conversions' may be in the works at other locations.

That may or may not be true.. but I wonder .....
