can any1 recommend a good Disney Music cd. I'm looking for a fun cd the kids will love to hear on the way to Disney World. Thanks

I like the Disney Greatest cd's. There are several volumes and you can buy them separately. I also enjoy the different park cd's out there (which you can get by calling Disney merchandising or searching Ebay). We enjoy Illuminations, Wishes, Fantasmic and then we also like the Magic In The Streets cd that has the Share A Dream Come True parade from MK. So many that are out there to choose from. We have a never ending library, so its hard to pick a favorite.

These are the ones we love:

Illuminations soundtrack
Magic in the Streets
Bibbidi Bobbidi Bach
Heigh Ho Mozart
Manheim meets the Mouse
Buddy Songs
Rascal Songs

Any park music.......

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Bach and Heigh Ho Mozart are obviously classical music CDs - which are AWESOME for the car. The cool thing about these are that they have wonderful Disney songs done in all different classical styles. It's alot of fun to have the kids listen and try to "name that tune"! The same is true for the Manheim except that it is all done in the Manheim Steamroller manner. http://www.plan-a-magical-vacation.com/disney-music.html

We have these - Volumes one and two are great! We knew many of the songs from the movies and learned a few new ones :thumbsup2

We also like some park music CDs but I think that you may only be able to get those at WDW....

Wait - I found this one that we love online. It is great but WAY cheaper if you wait and buy it in the parks!

whats the deal with downloading music online? my hubby was telling me about some site called limewire. He said I couold just download the songs from there and burn them onto a cd (we have a cd/dvd burner in our computer). Is that legal to do?

You should google Is Limewire legal? and read about it and see what you think. My husband and I have argued about this till I decided to just drop it - not worth fussing about anymore.

OH! I meant to say that we did not download the Official Album - we bought it last year at the MK. I just found it for sale online and linked to the site - see what I mean? I (as you may have guessed) don't believe in downloading music without paying for it.

We have the Classic Disney 5 cd set. http://www.amazon.com/Classic-Disne...bs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1215436340&sr=8-2 You can buy them individually or as a set. I just put them on my Ipod and that way she can listen to them in the car and I don't have to worry about changing out the cds. You can usually find the set used (all 5) on ebay for a pretty reasonable price, (much better than Amazon). Out of all our Disney cd's these definitely get the most playtime since they have so many songs from the movies. :thumbsup2
